Ms [redacted] makes wild allegations that our body shop maliciously and intentionally poisoned her without one scrap of evidence that our body shop did anything remotely close to that Her claims are extremely offensive and frivolous It is a shame that Ms [redacted] makes such unimaginable claims in an effort to shakedown our business The actual facts in response to each of Ms [redacted] ’s six numbered paragraphs are as follows: 1) The delay in completing the repair was due solely to unavailability of parts This had nothing whatsoever to do with our body shop This is all documented She claims that when the car was returned, it was “full of poison.” The fact is our body shop did absolutely nothing to the interior of the vehicle No repairs were made to the interior and the vehicle was completely sealed prior to paint being applied.2) Ms [redacted] references “other reputable body shops” alleged statements about car cabin contamination What she fails to acknowledge is that our body shop did nothing to contaminate the vehicle and did not use poison in any event.3) Ms [redacted] uses the words, “intentionally poison me” and “malicious act” and “revenge”—we have absolutely no idea what we would be seeking “revenge” against her for? Her allegations against our body shop are highly offensive and frivolous.4) The delay in her vehicle repair is already explained above As for her request that her insurer inspect her vehicle prior to her pickup: she is here admitting that an independent, objective third party approved our body shop work Indeed, the insurer paid the [redacted] and approved of the repairs This is clear evidence that Mr [redacted] ’s statements about being poisoned and harmed by our body shop are defamatory and frivolous.5) It is totally irrelevant that some unknown third party complained about some unknown work done by an unknown third-party VW body shop What in the world does this have to do with Ms [redacted] ’s frivolous complaints?6) She claims her car is “ruined” and “a total loss” yet her insurer representative (whom she asked to inspect the vehicle) cleared the vehicle repairs and paid the *** How could it be a total loss? In conclusion, Bob Baker Volkswagen does not take lightly Ms [redacted] ’s frivolous and defamatory allegations and statements against it It is downright outrageous that she would claim the body shop has done anything to harm her

Our Finance Director has contacted Mr [redacted] and explained to him that the California DMV required a copy of the bill of lading to process his request After multiple phone calls with the DMV, we were able to proceed without the bill of lading He explained to Mr [redacted] that the DMV computers had been down causing further delays and that his request would be processed and the title forwarded to Mr [redacted] as soon as it is received here at the dealership Mr [redacted] understands the process and is satisfied The Finance Director will maintain contact with Mr [redacted] and keep him updated

Ms [redacted] contacted the dealership complaining about an odor inside her vehicle that was making her sick We contacted Ms [redacted] on occasions and offered to pick up and re-inspect the Fiat, replace the cabin pollen filter, re-detail the vehicle, provide a loaner, and return the vehicle to her A satisfactory time to pick up the vehicle from her could not be reached Since then, a complaint has been placed with the Bureau of Automotive Repair At this time, the dealership is cooperating with the BAR and awaiting the results of their investigation Our Body Shop works on and returns to the customer approximately to vehicles a month Once repairs are completed, the vehicles are washed and vacuumed as a courtesy to the customer No chemicals are used during that process

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThe point that their body shop works on and returns 30-cars a monthproves nothing except that their garage is highly toxicMy car was at their shop for over a month, longer then most cars and when it was returned to me was full of poison When I rode in my car I was poisoned, feeling dizzy, nauseous and lousy and contracted a serious eye infection that I'm still being treated forI contracted a skin rash all over my neck, face and arms and had a terrible burning chest and inflamed stinging neck as well, just from driving in itI waited so long for my car to be ready and when I saw it on May 25th, for the first time the paint looked different then beforeIt looked like fresh paintThe paint looked heavy, thick and layered with the appearance that it was sticky, still wet kind of, almost like it wasn't completely dry Then after riding in the car I couldn't believe how I was feeling,I was so disappointed that after all that I was riding in a car that caused me physical pain and long lasting harm, I was speechless.2.Other reputable body shops state that sometimes inside car cabins can become contaminated when outside collision work is being done on cars if the car is not sealed properly during the body shop workThe experts in the body shop industry went on to say that also during the collision repair process car cabins can accumulate the smell and dust particles of the materials being used in the body shop setting by merely being at the body shop garage for a long period of timeMy car was there for over days It is well known that body shops are hazardous material environments where workers are required to wear full hazmat gear and thatdue to all the work being done there to repair the bodies of automobiles the air typically has chemical dust circulating in it as well and fine spray particles from all the painting being doneEvery other time I got body shop work done on my cars it never took over 30days like Bob Bakers body shop did, nor did my health ever suffer from riding in the car after having a couple different collision repair jobs, including one job done to this same very car where the paint job did not look like theirs.3.There is a possibility that this bad work was done to my car to intentionally poison meTherefore, I do not want Bob Baker Volkswagen body shop touching my car again to do anything because currently the body shop workers, the ones who actually do the work on the cars, are in question as to whether my car was done improperly as a malicious act of revenge to cause me harm, something upper management never would have been privy to but nevertheless responsible for.4.Richard the body shop manager who I dealt with the entire time during the transaction was mysteriously let go from the company two days after I picked up the carPlease note thatRichard called me late in the afternoon on Friday, May 20th, to say the car would bedone in fifteen minutes and that I could come pick it up that eveningWhen I called back an hour later to say I preferred a representative from my insurance company look over the body shop work before I pickit up the phone fell in a dead silence I asked for this because Iwanted to feel secure before picking up the car and have my apprehensiveness relievedbecause I was concerned about the quality of work the Bob Baker body shop hadperformedThe entire collision repair transaction over the weeks seemed odd and abwith peculiar inconsistenciesSo then Monday, May 23rd Richard calls me and says he actually has a couple more things to do to the car and that the car won't be ready until the afternoon of Tuesday, May 24thThen why was my car declared ready to be picked up on Friday, the 20th of May if it wasn't fully done.5.In addition during my research of this issue I found online another Volkswagen body shop consumer who complained of collision repair to a passenger door and quarter panel that ruined their car cabins air quality and even after air filters were changed the problem was never completely eradicated.6.My car went from needing $4,worth of work with a $supplement to match the paint, to needing a $3,supplement, to now my $16,valued car being a total lossThe car accidents responsible parties insurance paid for my car to be restored to its original condition and it was notThe car is ruined and I have been without transportation for more then daysThe BAR case does not mean I can't use the Revdex.comI'm carless right now and am looking for the government agency that can help me resolve this issue to my satisfaction with the upmost speed, so I can have the funds to get another carMy car cannot be fixed Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear My request to Revdex.com from day one is for them to not make this correspondence publicWhether or not they oblige is up to them.I do not have any reason to want to destroy the business of Bob Baker dealerships or its body shopI simply am a customer that was injured by the work performed and nothing was or is being done about itI have proposed ways to settle the problem and the General Manager *** *** insist they did nothing wrong and makes promises he never keeps
The evidence for my allegations are not appropriate for this outlet of communication as they involve my personal life therefore they won't be explained in great detail hereI would not describe them either as wild or unimaginable because everyone knows you can't put nothing past peopleThe higher ups at the dealership I'm sure are oblivious to what their inferiors are up toA good look into this whole collision repair job gone bad is the fact that the Body Shop manager I dealt with was let go two days after I got my car and my car was oficially declared ready May 20th and then once I didn't pick it up and would have someone look at the outside work ahead of time it wasn't going to be ready until the afternoon of May 24th.The person who quickly looked over the car did not ride in the car as I didThey had no reason to be inside the car at all as no work inside the car was done and outside chemicals bleeding into the car is rare I've been told, but more experienced body shop managers are aware of it happening a time or two in their careerThe chemicals were so strong that I became ill and was poisoned by the body shop chemicals they used on my carMy eyes had an allergic reaction causing them to puff and swell up with discharge and ache terriblyMy neck was stinging and inflammed and my chest burning and I felt lousy with really low blood pressureI even had little red bumps all over the back of my neck and cheeksSomething is a miss with what they didThey have not wanted to take any responsibility for the pain their messy work caused in my lifeTo them this might be frivolous but I have been greatly inconvenienced as well as harmed and unfortunately it seems that this body shop does not take seriously my complaintFinally, Bob Baker dealership I don't think would ever purposely cause anyone harm but it's too bad they have some rotten apples employed there that use their job as a medium to retaliateI state again my car was there to get fixed for body damage and that's what they were paid for but never did anyone think that in the process of repairing the exterior damage that my interior would be tainted and fumigated with poisons (chemical dust from the paints and sealants and glues, etc used in body shop repair) that no living creature should breathe in on a regular basisMy vents, air ducts, upholstery, carpet, cabin filter and cabin air have been compromised during the month they had possession of my carThis caused me to have a severe reaction and has made me carless

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The point that their body shop works on and returns 30-40 cars a monthproves nothing    except that their garage is highly toxic. My car was at their shop for over a month, longer then most cars and when it was returned to me was full of poison.  When I rode in my car I was poisoned, feeling dizzy, nauseous and lousy and contracted a serious eye infection that I'm still being treated for. I contracted a skin rash all over my neck, face and arms and had a terrible burning chest and inflamed stinging neck as well, just from driving in it. I waited so long for my car to be ready and when I saw it on May 25th, 2016 for the first time the paint looked different then before. It looked like fresh paint. The paint looked heavy, thick and layered with the appearance that it was sticky, still wet kind of, almost like it wasn't completely dry.  Then after riding in the car I couldn't believe how I was feeling,I was so disappointed that after all that I was riding in a car that caused me physical pain and long lasting harm, I was speechless.2.Other reputable body shops state that sometimes inside car cabins can become contaminated when outside collision work is being done on cars if the car is not sealed properly during the body shop work. The experts in the body shop industry went on to say that also during the collision repair process car cabins can accumulate the smell and dust particles of the materials being used in the body shop setting by merely being at the body shop garage for a long period of time. My car was there for over 30 days.  It is well known that body shops are hazardous material environments where workers are required to wear full hazmat gear and thatdue to all the work being done there to repair the bodies of automobiles the air typically has chemical dust circulating in it as well and fine spray particles from all the painting being done. Every other time I got body shop work done on my cars it never took over 30days like Bob Bakers body shop did, nor did my health ever suffer from riding in the car after having a couple different collision repair jobs, including one job done to this same very car where the paint job did not look like theirs.3.There is a possibility that this bad work was done to my car to intentionally poison me. Therefore, I do not want Bob Baker Volkswagen body shop touching my car again to do anything because currently the body shop workers, the ones who actually do the work on the cars, are in question as to whether my car was done improperly as a malicious act of revenge to cause me harm, something upper management never would have been privy to but nevertheless responsible for.4.Richard the body shop manager who I dealt with the entire time during the transaction was mysteriously let go from the company two days after I picked up the car. Please note thatRichard called me late in the afternoon on Friday, May 20th, 2016 to say the car would bedone in fifteen minutes and that I could come pick it up that evening. When I called back an hour later to say I preferred a representative from my insurance company look over the body shop work before I pickit up the phone fell in a dead silence.  I asked for this because Iwanted to feel secure before picking up the car and have my apprehensiveness relievedbecause I was concerned about the quality of work the Bob Baker body shop hadperformed. The entire collision repair transaction over the weeks seemed odd and abnormal with peculiar inconsistencies. So then Monday, May 23rd Richard calls me and says he actually has a couple more things to do to the car and that the car won't be ready until the afternoon of Tuesday, May 24th. Then why was my car declared ready to be picked up on Friday, the 20th of May if it wasn't fully done.5.In addition during my research of this issue I found online another Volkswagen body shop consumer who complained of collision repair to a passenger door and quarter panel that ruined their car cabins air quality and even after air filters were changed the problem was never completely eradicated.6.My car went from needing $4,500 worth of work with a $100 supplement to match the paint, to needing a $3,000 supplement, to now my $16,000 valued car being a total loss. The car accidents responsible parties insurance paid for my car to be restored to its original condition and it was not. The car is ruined and I have been without transportation for more then 53 days. The BAR case does not mean I can't use the Revdex.com. I'm carless right now and am looking for the government agency that can help me resolve this issue to my satisfaction with the upmost speed, so I can have the funds to get another car. My car cannot be fixed.
