[redacted],
This 2nd complaint is not necessary as [redacted] had already filed a different complaint regarding the same issue via [redacted].  We have attached our response to that complaint onto this one, for your records.
As you can see, we responded to [redacted]'s request to cancel...

her account and sent a payout via a check.  We could not send a payment via [redacted] as we issued a manual payment below the $50 threshold necessary to request a payment.  We made an exception and provided her with this payment despite the fact that our terms & conditions state that payments are not made when a member wants to cancel their account:
"Membership cancellation.Users may cancel their account any time by clicking the "Cancel Membership" link found at the bottom of any page of The Website. In addition, all e-mails sent to Users include a link to the cancellation page. If a User cancels their account, they will forfeit all earnings in their account and any referrals. In addition, any unprocessed payments for that User are removed and forfeited."
The above can be found at:
[redacted] should receive her check within the next week.
We ask that this complaint be closed since there is already an open complaint on the matter.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: This company has been sending me emails over and over. I do not wish to participate in their surveys. I have repeatedly asked them to remove my name and email address from the mailing list. I just want the harassment to stop.Desired Settlement: The emails must stop. I have asked over and over.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

After muddling through over a dozen survey sites, I have found that Vindale Research is one of the few I choose to participate. Their pre-evaluation saves my time and theirs allowing me to fully utilize this service to benefit myself, Vindale, and their client(s).

Ive been doing surveys on vindale for the past few months, its a great way to earn a little extra money when you are bored at home. you get to pick and choose what surveys you want or do not want to do. The list is updated several times daily. Ive had 5 min surveys for over $1, and 0.50 cent surveys for 30 mins, its great. I like it! and they also have bonus ways to earn money too, I have already recommended it to people actually

Review: I faithfully performed surveys as outlined accumulating $50 in verified survey completions as outlined on their website. The site states that they send money after $50 is accumulated. However, after I submitted the request for payment,I received an email stating my payment was blocked due to inability to locate valid paypal account. I do have a valid, working paypal account. Several email responses and calls to this organization have gone unanswered and I have not received payment as promised.Desired Settlement: payment and apology.

Please find herein SayForExample, Inc’s response to Complaint No. [redacted], filed by [redacted], forwarded to Vindale Research, a market research brand owned and managed by SayForExample, Inc.

Vindale Research specializes in the evaluation of third-party products and services and offers cash rewards to consumers who complete product evaluations and/or complete studies about a particular consumer experience. Cash rewards from Vindale Research and the steps necessary to claim them are always clearly stated. The rewards are usually between $2 and $35 per product evaluation and $1 and $5 per study. Neither SayForExample, Inc nor Vindale Media LLC directly requests money from consumers and we do not process credit cards or have any control over any process related to the billing of a customer’s bank account.

In file no [redacted] claims we have held his payment due to our inability to locate a valid PayPal email address. I’m not sure how [redacted] came to this conclusion as we have sent him the following email when we rejected his payment request:

Dear [redacted],

There was a problem processing the payment request you submitted.

Please respond to this email for more information. We will work with you to clarify any issues we've identified with your account. If we find your account to be in good standing, we will release your payment in the next pay cycle.

NOTE: If we need further evidence to verify the validity of your payment request, we may ask that you submit a copy of your personal identification, such as a driver's license.

[redacted] got in touch with us on October *, 2013 and again on October *, 2013. We claim that we may take 2-3 business days to respond back to any entries on our support system so he did not allow for enough time to lapse while waiting for a response. In any case, we have since responded to his ticket and have asked him to submit ID to verify his identity due to some suspicious activity on his account.

Should [redacted] have any other questions or concerns, he should feel free to contact us directly on our support system.

Review: I signed up for a service recommended by FAFSA where students search for scholarships, loans and grants for school. It was supposed to be a service where I would be paid for taking surveys online. Instead, I was asked very personal questions including address, phone number, career and salary information. I attempted to cancel my membership, and I would like confirmation that my membership is indeed cancelled and that all of the information that all of the information that I had provided has been deleted from their database systems.Desired Settlement: I require confirmation that my account has been deleted and that all information that all information that I had provided gas been deleted from their database systems. FAFSA should also be aware about what they are advising students to register for when searching for scholarships.

In file no. [redacted] claims we have not paid him when clearly we have because he even noted the PayPal confirmation number on file: [redacted]. We have included an attachment that shows the payment in a completed status on PayPal’s site. It was sent to his PayPal address of [redacted]. He should have received an email from them stating that his payment was sent (see attached).

Also, we would like to bring to your attention that [redacted] did not wait 5 business days for a response, which we state on our “Get Help” page (see attached copy). He sent a message to our chat system while we were offline and that in turn created a ticket, which we answer in the order they are received.

Therefore, considering the above points, we find this complaint to be futile.

Should [redacted] have any further questions about his payment, he should feel free to contact us at [redacted] or on his open ticket which we have responded to, today.

Review: This company is Ripping-Off us consumers right and left. All they really want is to get as much personally information from the consumer to use and abuse this information with very Deceptive Practices. They gather all the information they can only to profit on each or every survey's completed by the consumer. They also don't pay the consumers what they honestly earn. I was personally rip-off of $70.54. Only to find out that they are ripping a lot of consumers. This is a total scam because they say they pay for doing Online Survey's from $5 to $75.00 and pay on the [redacted] and the last day of the month after reaching a $50.00. After I reached the $50.00 and requested my payment all I got was the letter enclosed without receiving any earlier or letters or information from Vindale.Desired Settlement: Of course I would like my the money that I earned but more importantly is to get Vindale Research off the Internet completely. Get these scam artist off the Internet for they can stop ripping -off the consumer. Just review their scam page on the Internet. These desperate individuals have been ripping off people for years. Get them off the Internet and put them Jail where they can still earn an income at their level.

Sincerely,

Review: I signed up for vindale surveys and completed many offers and surveys resulting in a pending reward of $61. There is only $2 in my account and the remaining $59 has been pending for over a week. When I contacted the company to ask about the pending amount I was told several times that I would be getting the $59 within a few days. A few days passed and the amount is still pending in the account with the word clicked beside it. I would either like this money that I completed the offers for and rook surveys for before they all expire which is what I believe this company is waiting for so they don't have to pay.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my $59 that has been pending now for over a week and for vindale to contact me via email with an explaintation. I would like the $59 before it all expires.

In file no. [redacted], the complaint states that [redacted] is owed about $59 because these amounts are in a “pending” state. We have attached an image that shows the activity items that [redacted] has under her pending tab, in her account. If you note the activity status key, any items under the pending tab will show up as “clicked”. This simply means:

“Items marked as "clicked" have been started, but haven't been verified as completed. If successfully completed, the status should change to "verified" within 5 business days. If not successfully completed, the status will remain "clicked" until the survey or study expires.”

Note that some surveys and/or studies may remain in this status if the third party company that a member participates with does not verify completion or a member did not qualify or complete the survey or study as instructed. Once these studies have been on the list for over 30 days, they will move over to an “Expired” or “Not qualified” state.

[redacted] has not contacted our company regarding this issue. We wrote out to her explaining what pending means and how credits become verified.

If [redacted] still feels these items are incorrectly marked she may provide us with proof of completion and upon verification of this proof she can receive credit.

Thank you for reaching out to us and we hope to have this resolved soon. Should [redacted] have any further questions or concerns, he should feel free to contact us at

Response:

They are clearly not telling the truth. Their DBA is Vindale research, as you can see from third image, it is same address and the only company that has been sending me the emails. I just received another today at 10:37 CST.

Business

Response:

[redacted],We understand [redacted]' frustration but we can assure you that he was unsubscribed from our site as of 4/**/15. Note the last access date on the attached document.Through the attachments he provided, we have uncovered that one of our third parties was still emailing him survey invitations. We have since contacted them and asked them to remove him from their site as well as mailing list. Therefore [redacted] should no longer see emails from Vindale Research.Should there be any other questions, [redacted] should feel free to contact us.Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: I signed up and joined this company to get paid to do on line surveys. I have been doing them non stop on good faith. I have only 20.62 verfied in my account that has been like that for weeks now. I have 88.73 pending. All on the pending are clicked just waiting to be verified which has been quite a few weeks now on the wait time. I had almost 150.00 in survey that I have no idea what they did to with them. I have only been denied one for 2.00 that I did not qualify for. I got a bit unasure of what I might of gotten myself into when I noticed I was doing survey after survey but nothing was adding up money wise for me. It was all remaining in my pending box, my in box and my email full of surveys to do. I contacted to ask why? No one knows what happened to the missing surveys I did and the pending amount decrease. All they can say is turn around time takes a few days. Now we are into more than a few weeks. I got nervous and went on Revdex.com site and saw that others experienced the same situation and had to go to Revdex.com for help also. People want to work, want to make a few extra dollars, so when you see things like this you figure it is on the up and up. But it is a kick in the teeth to sit here every day hour after hour and do these surveys after survey thinking your doing good, got a chance to make a few extra dollars. Then all of a sudden you realize you just might have been taken and totally ripped off. They got their surveys done, they satisified their obligations with whom they contracted with to do these surveys, and I get ripped off. NOT FAIR AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED AND STOPPEDDesired Settlement: I want to be paid for what I was promised to get paid for by doing these surveys. I understand you have to reach the 50.00 mark to get the first payment. But how is that possible when all my surveys are being held in the pending area, and this company is not doing their job to check my results to add them in my payment area. They appear to be waiting until I am disqualified. And what happened to over 30.00 in missing surveys I did? I was only disqualified for one which was 2.00. They want me to continue but I am not until I see some positive results all I see is negative and my funds decreasing with no reason why. I now have 109.35 with verified and pending when I had almost 150.00 in my pending what happened to over 40.00 in my pending when it shows only one disqualification for 2.00?

In file no [redacted] claims that she is due over $150 in credits. [redacted] may see a continual drop in her pending credits if she did not qualify for a study or did not complete a survey that expired. (Please see attached jpeg document for her pending account balance.) Credits in pending disappear and are lumped under a “Show All” link/button once it is determined that the member does not qualify or the opportunity expired.

At this point, [redacted] is not due any credit based on the fact that she did not qualify for most studies and surveys she participated in and she is not due a payment because she has not reached the $50 verified balance threshold.

Should she have any other questions or concerns, [redacted] should feel free to contact us directly at [redacted].

Please find herein SayForExample, Inc’s second response to Complaint No. [redacted], filed by [redacted], forwarded to Vindale Research, a market research brand owned and managed by SayForExample, Inc.

In file no [redacted] continues to state that she is due credit for things clearly not completed as outlined in the screenshot we sent in our last response. She has a lot of items that were marked by the third party as “not qualified”. We do not credit members for things they did not complete or did not qualify for. If she has items in “clicked” status and she feels she completed these, she should be filling out credit inquiry forms and providing us with proof of completion.

In addition, we’d like to note that if a member does not get paid for a completion, we do not get paid for the lead so [redacted] should not assume that we are stealing money from her. Again, [redacted] is not owed any credits or money at this time to the best of our knowledge.

Should she have any other questions or concerns, [redacted] should feel free to contact us directly at [redacted].

Really what do you want me to say. They deny it I stated what they did and what happened. I do not want to do any more business with this company. I do ne feel they are on the up and up. I want my response published with the others so other people can be aware before they fall into this trap. I do not wish no contact from this company I do not care for what I consider to be an dishonest company. Many people like myself these days are looking for ways to make $$ to make ends meet, to fall into traps like this, well this is just not right. Can't just be myself I read the reviews from others that had experience the same wrong doing from this company

As you can see, we responded to [redacted]'s request to cancel her account and sent a payout via a check. We could not send a payment via [redacted] as we issued a manual payment below the $50 threshold necessary to request a payment. We made an exception and provided her with this payment despite the fact that our terms & conditions state that payments are not made when a member wants to cancel their account:

Response:

[redacted] had 3 total accounts created on [redacted]'s site. As per our TOS, we do not allow members to have more than one account as we consider this a fraudulent practice; multiple/duplicate credits for completing the same types of surveys. We have since removed the 2 additional accounts and have released [redacted]'s payment. It was processed today, June ** and will be mailed out tomorrow, July *. He should receive his check within 7-10 days.Should there be any other concerns or questions, [redacted] should feel free to contact us at [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]

Vindale Survey Site.
I participated in a survey, which stipulated a reward of 63 cents. After answering 8 questions, approximately 10 minutes, Vindale informed me that I would not receive the reward, 63 cents, as promised.

Review: I was doing surveys for Vindale Research since March 2013 and only got paid by one of their DBAs (Global Market Test) with a forged check which was confiscated by my bank. I also had two others taken away for similar infractions. The company claims they do not owe me anything. I have documentation refutting that remark.Desired Settlement: I hired a P.I. who after his investigation, informed me that they have been doing this for a number of years and continually change their DBAs, file the necessary documents, i.e.; fictious names, etc., and have had over 30 complaints filed against them this year alone. Oddly, he said it looks like the company settled with these persons, yet they tell me they owe nothing except maybe $19.00.

Business

Response:

To whom it may concern,

Review: Will not pay me for the 50.00 I earned that sent the first payment of 50.00 with any issue now they are saying I have some other account with them which is false if that was the case they would have stated that when paying the first paymentDesired Settlement: My pay of 50.00

Business

Response:

[redacted]'s complaint states that she did not receive a payment because she has two accounts. Her claim is that she does not have two accounts. However, our system detects any new and/or previous accounts that a member signed up for, and links them to each other should they share any information. In this case[redacted] signed up for an account in 2008 and then again in 2014. She reached payout amount under her new account but was flagged due to the old account which shared name and password info. We have gone ahead and overridden this flag because [redacted] has not accessed her old account since 2008.Her check has been processed and she should expect to receive it within 7-10 days.Sincerely,

The surveys are often fun to take. The payout amounts are inconsistent with the length/challenge of the surveys. Some are not as well written as others, with following questions unable to take into account previous answers or not providing sufficient options to enable honest answers. Some do not provide the question with the potential answers, calling the process to a screeching halt. Payment requests seem to "bounce" around the calendar, so the individual may or not be paid properly on the next payout date (15th and end of each month). My numerical response will depend upon their response to my inquiry into the situation.

Review: My account was cancelled because they said I had two accounts created under the same computer but I already explained it to them within their seven days that they requested showing them that I had a different address than the one they had on file to fix the problem and showed them proof with my license picture but they went ahead and cancelled my accountDesired Settlement: I want them to repair tier mistake and make my account whole again with all the credited surveys I had already done for them which was about 56 dollars in credit and to pay me out my credit I requested of 50$ since it is only fair I have done all their surveys expecting payment and was cancelled

In file no. [redacted] claims that he is due a payment of $50. We have contacted him several times about holding his payment because we found some suspicious activity regarding his account. His physical address was changed right before he made a request and we found that this same address was linked to another account as well. We do not accept multiple accounts per household as per our terms & conditions.

[redacted] sent us a copy of his driver’s license to confirm his new address, but we noted that this license was issued in 2009 and replaced in 2010 so the timeframe in which all of these changes were made, does not add up.
