My husband and I have used the services of Saylor's Painting Coseveral times over the past decade and have always been extremely pleased with their work Our relationship started with the complete painting of the interior of our condo years agoThe condo hadn't been painted since the builder's coat, about years prior [redacted] and his crew (Larry works hard to find and then hire the best paint crew people who are reliable, efficient, professional, polite, and who are willing to discuss "problems" as they find them, like asking if we want old hooks for hanging decorations removed, and if we really want a particular finish on one wall vsanother) first carefully prepped every wall and ceiling, including the two-story living- and master bed-rooms, by pounding in every nail-pop, then grouting the holes and sanding them smoothThere must have been nail-pops! The prep work took a crew of three and entire week They carefully cleaned up every day, after themselves, and asked permission to store their equipment in the condoThey realized we stayed in the condo during the job and were careful to control dust and noise (I'm a writer and work at home) He visited the paint store twice in order to find the perfect match to the paint on our metal spiral staircase Nine years later, we were happy to hire Saylor's Painting again before putting our condo on the marketThe previous paint job was still good but we had him paint the walls and ceiling of our garage and our doorsAgain, a worry-free job with perfect resultsWe sold our condo five weeks after our first showing He then painted the interior of our new (old) house, taking great care to first properly patch and then finish any holes in the original plaster wallsHe installed the molding for our picture-hanging system throughout the house, and painted each room a different color and finishI think he had to purchase different paints! (Thank you for being so patient, Larry.) Oh, and he removed yucky wall paper for us and uncovered some lovely old tile-work in what used to be the kitchenThe house looked perfect when we moved in, and the hanging system's molding adds value and beauty to each room Our most recent painting project was the exterior of our new (old) house in July-August I had forgotten how through Larry and his crew can beThey pointed out issues (rotted wood on the porch, old paint splatters on the brick walls) and did the necessary repairs before scraping the old paintThe prep work again took them a week, scrambling up two-story long ladders and climbing on the roof of the addition to get at the peaks of the original houseThey tried to work around hedges, and double checked with us on the colors we picked for the siding vsthe trimThey found a hole in the fascia under a peak of the roof, pointed it out, and patched it before paintingNo bats allowed into our attic! Our new home now looks great with clean, bright, beautiful trim and siding, and we are confident that any issues that were out of our sight have been addressed Larry is an experienced professional who takes pride in his work as his name is associated with his business, and we gladly recommend him to our friends and neighbors, and look forward to using his services again in the future
