Review: False and misleading advertising. I was promised payment for surveys via mg4.publicaster.com which enlisted me in [redacted]. I got an email from online [redacted] saying Survey Rewards OnlinePaid participation MAY ( it didn't say IS REQUIRED!! Misleading/false advertising) be required for this offer.It then took me to a SHORT survey required for the ipad and then it turned into a SPAM nightmare. It was forcing me to do all these surveys (NO SHORT SURVEY - but SURVEYS) and then it was forcing me to accept an offer (which makes the misleading MAY be required should have been IS REQUIRED to get the offer of a free Apple iPad! I spent all this time trying to find the free offer and it was just tossing web sites at me left to right. See below email. Notice is says you will grab your iPad after completing a SHORT survey. I filled out a short survey and other stuff and because they were misleading and wasted my time, I deserve this ipad! They falsely advertised get it FREE with a SHORT survey and I MAY be required to purchase something - they didn't say I HAD to purchase something!

At this time, I have been contacted directly by SBG Media, Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

They want me to pay someone to verify my signature and then send the letter back agreeing to their terms. However, if I agree to their terms, then they will continue to "LEAD" people on to these web sites and their unfair practices will continue. They are saying they did nothing wrong and they are not admitting to doing anything wrong. Just putting out emails or Facebook Ads that state get a free ipad etc (well that IPAD is not free if you have to fill out a short survey that takes you through a million other products and surveys that you have to agree to purchase!)

They are giving me the ipad as a courtesy, not because they have to. So, if they have done nothing wrong, why are they adding wording saying I should pretty much keep quiet about everything? So, I'm really frustrated. I feel they should give me the ipad regardless, and stop the sneaky marketing tactics. I can't afford a lawyer and they know this. Also, their ads say fill out the surveys for money and I've never seen a dime. My son has just informed me they advertise on the radios and tv too.

What will happen if I decide not to accept the ipad on their terms?

I've attached some of the things that they do. One of my screen shots shows LAST STEPS. Little print now says as outlined in our terms and conditions. All the requirements expect you to pay for the services of one of the ads below the ipad. The original email says FREE IPAD no little fine print. Just complete a SHORT survey. So, this short survey becomes an endless list of surveys (see screen shot Consumer Survey). You are expected to do fill out those (at least one) and nothing happens except you've just enlisted in more spam or more services for pay. I'm sending an example of spam ads that are coming in my email - they entice the consumer but they NEVER follow through. I've yet to receive free sample,money etc. They are using our info to SPAM us with all their other affiliates.

Unless you've actually gotten one of the emails I've sent, you won't be able to see how they endless bombard people with surveys and services for sale that NEVER result in freebies as advertised. My son is another witness to this problem. What will the Revdex.com do should I decide to pass on the free ipad because I'm not in agreement with keeping my mouth shut etc.
