As for the verbal harassment, it is documented via textI have numerous texts of some valid but many irrational requests, followed by an apology in the eveningFirst thing in the morning the same texts beginI requested several times that the customer purchase a replacement light so that the electrician could replace the faulty one and the customer could return it to the storeThe client refused several times. I suggested several alternatives to the closet system-that were more appropriate for the installationCustomer refused these ideasCustomer has warranty information for the heating/cooling systemI have not forwarded any of the subcontractors numbers to the customer to protect them from harassment. The electrician also gave the customer many items without typical charges because she was a family friend (3-way switching, and the alleged security light that is faulty)We also persuaded the county inspectors to allow an occupancy of the addition, without forcing client to bring electrical up to code (pump house and garage in questionIt became very apparent that the client would never be satisfied

To: Revdex.com Jefferson St NE Ste A Albuquerque, NM 87109Dear Revdex.com Representatives,This is a letter in response to customer complaint *** submitted to your office on 7/11/2016.I have known the customer personally for a great number of yearsHome additions can be
expensive, and when we had begun to discuss the job she had promised the help of her son in order to defray some of the costsHer son never made himself available to assist in the jobThroughout this process I have provided many services at a greatly reduced cost - some parts of the job were provided by me at no charge. As often happens with remodeling projects, the customer began adding more items to be performed, thus adding to the cost of the job.One major issue that was not mentioned by the customer in her complaint was the electrical and plumbingUpon excavation for the addition, existing gas and electriclines were found that were not up to codeThis discovery also added to the overall cost of the projectThe customer knew that this would be an additional cost, but wanted the upgrades done forfree. In regard to the stained doors, the customer was never charged for the stainingBecause the customer was unhappy with the color of the stains, I sanded and re-stained the doors free of chargeThe re-stained doors were still not customer's likingHer major complaint was one small blemish on one doorAgain, this was all done for free.Drywall issues came into the picture when the customer requested closet hardware - which she thought was included in the cost of the projectIt was explained to her that closet hardware was not included in the original estimateI suggested a certain type of hardware that is modular with the ability to install over wooden studsI also referred her to several closet system companiesThe customer did not take this advice and instead purchased poorly crafted hardware that she asked me to installThe hardware she had purchased was not versatile and not compatible with the closet dimensionsI had plans to repair the drywall in the closet when she began to become verbally abusive via text messagingThe customer would text multiple complaints and demandsAfter a multitude of text complaints, the customer would send an apology text, but the would start up again with abusive text messages at 6am in the morningBecause of this, I blocked her phone.I take great pride in the craftsmanship of my workI have an excellent customer ratingAll of my referrals are word-of-mouth from highly satisfied customersI will gladly provide this customer with warranty information as well as the keys to her residence.Sincerely,Sheri C***

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:To Revdex.com re: complaint [redacted],It is true I knew Sheri for many years. This is why I hired her. I trusted her as a friend and as a professional with high standards. It is probably because of this that I never received or asked for any written contract or warranties.  I now can not get through to any of the subcontractors or Ms. C[redacted], and see the value of having a warranty.I was aware that I was charged a rerouting fee to meet codes for the gas line and never expected it to be free. I also paid it without hesitation, as I did all of her requests for draws to my account. I also paid in full before all work was satisfactory expecting her to stand by her word. The electrician was supposed to re-connect the electricity to my garage at the end of the project. I never thought it would be without charge, I just wanted it done. I have been unable to reach him after numerous tries.  There is also an outside light he was supposed to fix which I paid to have installed on the new addition which has never worked. The doors were listed in invoice as "doors and installation". I had provided her a picture of how I wanted them and ,of course, assumed doors would include staining. When they did stain they were very dark brown which was unacceptable to me as I had wanted natural wood color as in the picture I sent her. It is true she sanded partially and restained, creating a more acceptable tone, but still look sloppy and uneven. The wood framing around the doors are full of rough staple holes and nicks in wood. No attempt to fill in and sand was made. I only accepted them because she was my friend and I didn't want to complain. I really am not that happy with over all condition of the doors.  My son has no experience with wood staining and did not need to be responsible for sanding off the dark stain they put on without consulting me.About the closet shelf, I expected my 50,000 dollar bedroom with a new walk in closet would at least have something to hang my clothing on. I didn't want a fancy closet system, just a shelf and pole. I trusted she could hang it without leaving a 10 cm hole in my drywall which I had to pay someone else to repair. She approved the shelving, and even purchased it.Other various  charges were tacked on at the end, I believe to make up for her having to restain the doors. In example,  originally charged for windows and installation.  After project completed I get additional Bill for over 3,000 dollars for things like foam insulation for Windows. I thought many charges would've been included in the cost of installation. Again, I paid the additional charges at the end even though I was completely paid up on invoice. This was before all work was completed by Sheri and the electrician. As to the allegations of verbal abuse by me. That never happened I was not happy with some of the work and let her know, but never was abusive. In fact, Sheri herself is the one who called me a screaming, crying, complainer who she and the electrician didn't want to do work for any more. It was at that time she quit answering my calls, texts and numerous messages. Sheri was someone I held to be fastidious in her work and in high esteem personally. I placed my trust in her hands and have been disappointed in her both professionally and in our personal relationship. To Revdex.com, I wrote a letter earlier today regarding my business transaction with Sherri C[redacted]. I would like to add that her original estimate was " under 30, 000 dollars".  It then came out to $85.00 per square foot initially. At the end of it all, I paid $100.00 per square foot which makes it hard to believe her statement that she did many things " for free". Just to clarify this was not a favor she did for me, it was a paid business transaction.Thankyou,[redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the response.
