SCAM! DO NOT PURCHASE with these scam artists. And Tripadvisor should be ashamed to have business with these scam artists!

I booked hotel reservations through tripadvisor for a hotel. Cancelon (A shady name in itself) was the cheapest booking. So I booked it. But the name had me concerned so I called hotel directly next day. They didnt receive a reservation. So I called Cancelon who was pretty much in India. And spoke to them for THREE DAYS to “supervisors”. Asking them, when would the hotel get my room confirmed.
BEWARE just because Cancelon sends YOU a confirmation it so does NOT mean your hotel has a confirmation at all ! So every day I asked supervisors and they all lied to me. They said “oh itll take 24-48 hrs” for hotel to get your booking. NOPE! then operators told me itll take 4 days. Then they told me itll take cpl weeks to over a MONTH for hotel to get confirmation! THAT is a SCAM. They take your money and do not book anything with hotel. I found out that ALL people who booked with them have had horrible reviews. They would go to hotel with NO RESERVATION ! Think about it . when you purchase through them, they do not book your reservation until someone cancels their vacation and then they buy out their loss at discount price and then give you there reservation apparently. So that is how they book you... so until someone cancels their vacation, that vacation gets resold and cancelon buys it for cheap and thennnnn they book your trip. But when you get a confirmation from Cancelon its NOT a confirmation! Your hotel for example is Not booked! ITS A SCAM! Thi company takes your money and give you a fake confirmation and cant guarantee you when hotel will be reserved. They will lie to you and give u run around all while you paid ! horribleeeeeee people who work for them will lie to you and spin you in circles. SHAME on tripadvisor, a respected company for having them as a third party. I had to cancel my bank card and file a fraudulent charge and had to get my money back. DO YOURSELF a favor! STAY AWAY from this india scam as they will take your money and NOT actually book anything for you!
