Thank you for letting me address the complaint that filed against Scandinavian Import SerVicenterOn June 23rd the customer visited our facility with a complaint of noise from the A/C compressorUpon Investigation, it was found that the a/c compressor in the customers' vehicle was
indeed faultyThis condition was heard audibly from the compressorAdditionally, there were signs of marking dye notéd around the evaporator drain, (a separate problem)The customer had approved replacement of the A/C compressor, and after replacement, it was filled with refrigerant per manufacturer specificationThis can be seen on attached repair order:# ***We do offer a parts and labor guarantee of days or 4,miles.On July 1st, 2014, the customer returned to our facility complaining of a noise from the A/C compressor Per our parts warranty, the A/C compressor was replaced, and the system refilled with refrigerantThis can be seen on attached repair order:# ***This repair also carries the same day or 4,mile warranty on parts and laborAdditionally, the customer was made aware that an incorrect engine mount was installed in the vehlcleThis is a known problem in the Saab Specialty industry, arid can transmit an unpleasant noise from the A/C systemThe customer has not made any contact with our facility regarding the repairs since the July 1st visit, more than months ago, Although there has been a significant amount of time since the previous visit, and the customer was informed of a refrigerant leak from the evaporator (which will cause the A/C compressor to "underperform," and create noise), we are willing to honor the parts and labor warranty even if it is outside the time allowedAdditionally, the incorrect engine mount is a known transmitter of A/C compressor noise on this year and model of carRegards,

Review: An abnormal noise coming from the air conditioning compressor in my car and its inefficiency in cooling was to be repaired at this shop. After a first repair that involved replacing the compressor as well as evacuating and recharging the unit, it was still making the same unusual noise that it was making when I first brought the car in for repair. Upon returning to the shop, it was acknowledged that the noise still persisted and was not fixed. Supposedly a second compressor unit was installed and when I went to pick up the car the noise still persisted and the air conditioning was not operating efficiently. The owner or manager of the shop heard and acknowledged the problematic sound and told me the shop would not investigate or attempt to repair the A/C compressor issue any further until a hydraulic engine mount was replaced costing many more hundreds of dollars - a part that is in no way related to the issue of the noise coming DIRECTLY from the A/C compressor. At this point it was clear that the shop's manager would not attempt to repair the A/C compressor nor refund any money already paid. I can provide documentation from other repair facilities that the problem is directly related to the air conditioning's compressor unit and that an engine mount is not related in any way to the problem.Desired Settlement: In total I spent $904.65 in parts and labor that I would like refunded.
