Scarab Hookah Lounge

Review: My friends and I were looking for a hookah lounge so that we could relax before our other festivities. We eventually decided to spend our time at "Scarab Hookah Lounge" which at first looked like a great decision. Before we placed our orders, the waiter presented us with an opportunity to order 3 hookahs between 13 people, which was against the lounge's policy (policy is 1 hookah per 2 persons). Our group was delighted that the lounge was willing to make an exception and we went ahead by ordering 3 of the cheapest hookahs ($15/each). Later on that night, we asked for our bill and was surprised to find out that we were charged for the MOST expensive hookah (special flavor + fruit for $25/each). This seemed highly unusual because we never wished to get a "special flavor" or a "fruit" to complement the hookahs. Furthermore, if we decided to get the "fruit", we were never given the option to choose one of our liking. Once we noticed the issue with the bill, we inquired our waiter as to why we were charged so much for something we never asked for. Their response was that we had agreed to order the "special flavors" and the "fruit" so that could bypass the lounge's order policy. Unfortunately, this was not the case which is evidenced by our lack of choice in regards to the type of fruit we wanted and the type of flavored tobacco we received. The most alarming issue, aside from the management's lack of disclosure and complete disregard of their fiduciary duty to be prudent by helping their customer, they pleaded negligence by claiming that it was not their fault.What was their incentive? It wasn't hard to figure it out considering that parties of 6 or more are charged a minimum for 20% for tips. They wanted to boost our bill so that their tip would be more lucrative.Desired Settlement: I would like to be charged the correct amount of $15.00 per hookah.With that said, it totals out to a refund of $30.00 ($10.00 from each hookah, we ordered 3)In addition, I would also like to be refunded the additional tip that was incurred from the additional $30 charge. That would be $30 x 20% = $6.00Please review their liquor and/or tobacco license as I witnessed a number of potentially under aged children there.A required course instructing their employees on better business practice.
