Review: I was there to see a movie with my family sat towards

the back of the theater and was asked to leave by personal because someone was bothered by my silenced phone there was plenty of open seats in front of us we were the first customers there and I was still asked to leave while leaving behind my family to enjoy the movie without me I complied to silencing and deming my phone screen before the movie.Desired Settlement: I never will return to this cinema I just want our money back and for this to be known.

A complaint was issued by another customer about someone using their cell phone during the movie. As we always do in these particular cases, ask the person in question in a polite way to please not use their phones as it is disruptive and rude to other customers. Most people go out into the Lobby when such issues occur, then return to the auditorium. A polite, well trained employee simply told this person that they would have to stop texting or would have to leave. The person on their own elected to leave rather than stop texting. As stated in their statement the rest of the family stayed to watch the movie.I was informed of this particular situation minutes prior to this customer calling and talking to me about it. I was told that no other theater ever told them not to use their phone. I was also told that they didn't see anything wrong with it.I politely explained that all theaters have a no phone use policy. The only reason they were able to use it at other venues was because the theater was not aware, and or no one complained about it. You can't fix what you don't know. Allpreshow ads at all theaters remind customers to turn off cell phones. Also a sign hangs above each door asking customers to please turn off cell phones.In conclusion even though I knew our position was the correct one I told this person that I hated it and even offered a free movie pass and a free combo for another movie if they wanted. This was a 14.00 dollar value for the 6.00 dollaradmission ticket, not 16. I was informed that they would rather pay 5 dollars more to go somewhere else and that they would not be back and that they were going to the Revdex.com. The other two family members stayed for the entire time.I did everything within reason to satisfy this customer except tell them they could text during the movie which is not allowed.Sincerely,[redacted]
