Review: This person came highly recommended by a friend to have my couch reupholster. Approximately the 2nd week in June 2013 Scears Decorators ([redacted]) came to my home and he looked at the job and we came to an agreement on the price (of $783.00) and I picked out the type and color of material that I wanted (STRIPE) material. I told him to come back the following week with the material so that my son can take a look at it which he did. After my son agrees [redacted] turned to me and told me that he under charge and would like an additional $100.00 and I said no that was not the agreement we made it was $783.00 so he decided to leave it at the original price. One June [redacted] he came and took the couch and I gave him $400 in cash.

July he call and said that the material that I wanted he does not have that any more but he has something very similar to it I asked him several time if it is similar and if it was STRIPE and he said yes so I said ok.

August [redacted] he had the couch delivered and it was a printed material not the stripe so I did not accept it because that not what I agreed on.

For about 6-7 weeks I tried calling him sometimes he answers his phone and sometime not. Whenever we speak he always said call back next week and hang up on me. That was so very stressful not know what to expect or was I going to every get it back. Finally on October [redacted] we spoke again and I told him to bring back my couch.

On the [redacted] of October my couch was delivered after they brought it inside the house I turned around look at it was it was a PRINTED material and Not STRIPE.

After 15 weeks without I couch I decided to accept my couch but I did not give the delivery person the balance of the money due because now I have to find someone else and to pay for them to do have it done over.

Scears Decorators should not treat people the that I have been treated.Desired Settlement: Make sure the person that did the actual work gets their money
