Review: On Monday, February 23, 2015, [redacted] sent a tow truck driver from Scenic Towing & Auto Care to unlock a 2003 325ci [redacted] 2-door coupe (non-convertible) at the following address: [redacted] between the hours of 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm. The truck driver made several failed attempts to unlock the vehicle. He noted, his tool was too short to get the job done, yet he continued to slide the tool along the window. He shattered the glass on the driver's side of the vehicle. Glass was everywhere inside, outside, and on [redacted] who had been standing near the car. Several witnesses include [redacted] (mother), [redacted] (friend), and the chairpersons at the [redacted] (7-8 women). The tow truck driver assured [redacted], that he would report the incident to his boss and he would take care of the damages. Then, the driver swept up the glass and she went inside to the meeting at PIQUE. He entered later and handed down contact information to her (mother) [redacted]. The interior of the vehicle was still dusted with glass particles, he also confirmed that his company would vacuum the car. Over the course of the following weeks, she reached the manager who led her to believe a repairmen would come to: [redacted], Modesto, CA since she was local. No one followed-up with her. After repeated attempts to schedule an appointment the repairman ([redacted]), sent a text over the week requesting the same information regarding the information that she relayed to the manager. He arrived, March 3, 2015 around 11:00 am and confessed that there was a wire needing to be connected and he ONLY installs glass, so he left. On March 4, 2015, she reported the incident to [redacted] (the tow company never reported property damage). March 5, 2015, she filed a claim with [redacted] against Scenic Towing & Auto Care, in addition, [redacted] filed a police report online. March 5, 2015, [redacted] ([redacted]) called, stating that the Jean (tow manager) says he will be happy to fix window once I pay for wire.Desired Settlement: Scenic Towing & Auto Care are liable for all repairs necessary to repair the 2003 325ci [redacted] driver's side window that there tow truck driver damaged due to negligence. The driver claimed this is not the first time he has broken a [redacted] window while trying to unlock it. [redacted] is requesting a settlement in the amount of: $2,334.15
