We truly regret that you feel deceived.  We tried to demonstrate that the information was right there on the order page for you to see at the time of purchase. 
Please see the attached document that [redacted] faxed to us today.  It shows that we were charged back for the $195.00 as of August 18, 2014 (i.e., they took the money from us and returned it to you).  The original charge was processed on 06/21/2014 and your full card number is shown.  I hope this enables you to locate in your records the return of those funds.

I apologize that this aspect of the complaint was not
satisfactorily resolved.   The stated
desired settlement was “Refund – Credit Card Credit” and the customer received the
return of his fee. 
 
The Product Specialists do not have the authority to
issue a refund.  We record all calls as
this customer is aware.  We have reviewed
the calls and **. [redacted] did not promise a refund, he promised that he
would submit a request for a refund.  **.

Because the customer made his purchase online he was
aware of and agreed to the terms and conditions.  We denied his request and he was informed by
email on June 27. 
I am unable to attach the phone call recording in this
response, but if the customer wishes, we may email it to him directly.

expect and we are refunding the $9.95 fee he paid for the
subscription.   That amount will be returned to the credit card he used when making his online purchase.

Revdex.com:I disagree with the business comments regarding that I was aware that at a minimum I was signing up for a charge of around $250. I find Mr John [redacted] words to be misleading at best and I feel the emails prove it.  If I knew there was around a $250 charge, I definitely would not have agreed to trial their products.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond.  We sincerely apologize for the experience this subscriber had with our Account Executives and that the changes were unsatisfactory for him.  Please note regarding our subscriptions that we always express the risky nature of trading options, and...

state that past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.  That being said, we offer to refund in full all the monies this subscriber paid to us, totalling $2,873.95.  Since the charges date back to February 2016, a check would have to be issued for the refund.  We request confirmation from the subscriber that he accepts our offer and also that he confirms the mailing address we have for him.  Upon receipt of that, we will promptly issue and mail him the refund check.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond.  Our advertisements are required to tout results that are factual and real.  Each of our promotions that this subscriber was sent also contain a link to the terms and conditions associated with subscription purchase.  Our lifetime terms...

(subscriber purchases a year and we take away the expiration date) are typically not refundable due to the length of the term and subscription fee cost savings.  Each of our emailed promotions also state;   Although there is significant profit potential associated with buying options, there is also the risk of losing one's entire investment in any individual trade. In any option buying approach, it is expected that losing trades will be more numerous than winning trades. The goal is for the average gain to be significantly greater than the average loss so that the bottom line is profitable. Prior to purchase, ensure that you have a broker that allows the trading of options and that you are approved to trade options.   Nevertheless, we seek to resolve our customer complaints, and will accommodate this subscriber’s request for a refund of the fees he paid totaling $[redacted].  Upon receipt of the subscriber’s acceptance we will process the refund by check and mail it to the address provided to Revdex.com. This customer responded to an offer of a subscription
with an introductory price of $9.95.  Included
in the email to which this customer responded we state: 
“Although
there is significant profit potential associated with buying options, there is also
the risk of...

losing the amount invested in any individual trade. In any option
buying approach, it is expected that losing trades will be more numerous than
winning trades. The goal is for the average gain to be significantly greater
than the average loss so that the bottom line is profitable.”
On the order page just above where he had to fill in his billing
information for the purchase we state: 
“After
your first 30 days, you’ll secure the special 35% discounted rate of $195 per
quarter.  To ensure uninterrupted
service, each period your auto bill subscription will automatically renew.  Just simply cancel any time before the next
billing date if you wish to avoid the renewal charge.”
 
We require that anyone who purchases a subscription online
must agree first to the terms and conditions of the purchase – otherwise they are
not able to complete the purchase.   The opening paragraphs of the Terms and
Conditions specifically discuss “IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT AUTO-CHARGING” as noted
below
According to our records, this customer purchased his
subscription online.  He did not contact
us prior to the renewal, thus the billing continued.  The customer contacted his credit card
company to dispute the $195.00 charge.  Our
records indicate that on August 20, 2014 the credit card company deducted $195.00
from our account and therefore he has already been refunded the fee that would settle this complaint.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond.  Our subscriber purchased his subscription by telephone.  A review of the recorded call indicates that he fully understood the intent of the offered guarantee whereby he agreed to try the subscription for a minimum of 90 days, after which he was...

entitled to a refund of the remainder if he was dissatisfied.  Our purpose in offering this type of guarantee is to ensure that our information is given a full and fair review instead of judgement based on just one or two recommendations.  While the subscriber clearly understood the terms while on the phone, it was obviously not clearly stated in our email, therefore we will honor this subscriber’s request for $930.00.  This amount is already being processed back to the credit card used for the purchase.

purchase.  The subsequent charges could not be refunded by credit card and a check for $98.00 will be sent to our address on file.  A separate email is being sent directly to our customer with regard to this matter so that we may confirm the mailing address we have to which we may mail the refund check.
