Joke of a place
March 5th purchased vehicle from this place $20,000. No floor mats, no remote control or headsets that description said was with vehicle so could not verify the entertainment packages worked. I ended up giving up on that as the electrical issue needed to be addressed and went out and purchased those things for vehicle. Told them the issues with said vehicle. Told them the evening I purchased vehicle headlights were messed up flickering. Brought said vehicle back several times (7). 1st time they replaced a headlight assembly at my cost, yes my cost after telling them before purchase of allthe water in headlight. Replaced but didn’t fix flickering. Drove said vehicle to Buffalo and back and headlights went out at night in a rain storm and would not turn back on. Happened 2 or 3 more times after….Brought vehicle back 2nd time. They replaced key fob 🙄. Still does it. So brought vehicle back for a third time. They checked wiring added some grounds. Still did it. Brought it back fourth time for two weeks and they replaced alternator. Still did it lights flickering and going out. By this time it became very dangerous and opted out driving vehicle at night. Brought back 5th time. Not sure what they did but said it was fixed again. It was not. Brought in for the 6th time then 7th time and they had an engineer come out and look at it. They replaced the TIPM. They brought said vehicle back to me and said it was fixed yet again. Nope. I decided a few days ago to go buy a really good battery for vehicle. Still does it. By this time I’m fuming and have every right to be and so is my family who I almost killed in this van. What would you do? Continue to be nice? According to one staff member there I wasn’t being hard enough. Now the owner said he will buy vehicle back but has not said this directly to me but through the service manager. Bryan the owner used service manager as messenger boy giving him my loan info, had him call me a few times and told him he will buy vehicle back but for 4-5 thousand less than I paid into it. I didn’t buy this vehicle off the service manager and Bryan had no business giving out my details of my loan info to him. That’s the finance dept job. The owner could’ve called ME as I bought the vehicle off him. I’ve been tossed around to several people over there and they have no clue what’s going on. Brandon had offered me to get out of said vehicle into another one a few months back but had nothing on lot and was going to keep an eye out at auctions and inventory. Well that got forgotten about I bet shortly after that conversation. Meanwhile they decided to throw more parts at said vehicle. Now they are mad because they invested a ton of money into vehicle and have the same outcome. I would suggest going to another dealership as there are many around and stay clear of this crap hole. Their only interest is selling you a vehicle and then go figure it out yourself. No communication there what so ever and Bryan didn’t have a clue the past 4 months of what was going on until I submitted a complaint to the BBB and State Attorney General office. Place is a joke and it shows. I’ve dealt with the general manager there also only to find out he has a rap sheet of defrauding a dealership and had I known this I would’ve stayed away indefinitely. Good thing I don’t have kids. If I had not purchased this vehicle and someone else did that had kids they would probably be even more upset than me. So if you want to purchase an incomplete unsafe vehicle then go here. Hopefully this will not happen to anyone else. If you had to use their service dept more than twice for the same problem I’d suggest going to another place. And yes I know electrical problems are harder to fix but 7 times? Everyone has a breaking point and this place just met mine. Plenty of other great dealerships in the area. I’d suggest staying well away from this one.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Dear [redacted],I have received the answer from Scheidemantle's which I did not accept. It did not give me a place to answer why I rejected it. 1.) I evidently made a typo, in the 2014 date, it was indeet 2017 as they said. They also made a typo in spelling my name, it's Hodge, not Hodges.  2.) All of the warranty they listed are expired. The powertrain and Perforation warranties are for 20 months, the vehicle is over 3 years old...which is over 36 months. The Ext Fed Emissions is 55 months or 34,211 miles. When I purchased the vehicle, it had approx 46,000 miles in other words also expired. Wether warranties are or are not transferrable, they are NOT available to me as they are all expired.3.) As the tires go, they did pass inspection also according to [redacted]. The salesman said that the tires were "new" they are not. They may have passed inspection, but they are NOT new as he said and will have to be replaced soon. 4.) My "driving habits" are just fine. I don't spin the wheels and leave skid marks on the road, go off road or anything of the sort. I was going over the speed limit on my test drive, I admit that. I always drove the speed limit within a few mph in my former vehicle. I could tell what speed I was going, being used to it for the 6-1/2 years I owned it. I was not familiar with this vehicle.I can now tell very closely as to what speed I am going in the Jeep, also. It is usually about two miles under the posted speed limit.5.) The rotors on the brakes, especially on the driver's side rear, are scored. That would not pass inspection. The front passenger side is not scored.6.) I was told by the salesman and one other person that the 2009 Jeep that I went to see in the first place was not on the lot and was "on the way" from another location. It was not brought to the location where I was. I had checked their website several times and the vehicle was on the site and also two 2007 vehicles I was considering. The salesman said that they were sending one of them to the auction...he did not say that about the other two.  The 2009 I wanted to see had not been sent to auction when I talked to the salesman the day before I went over to see it. Overnight they decided to send it to auction? He had my phone number and should have called if that was the case.7.) I sent the salesman an email with my complaints, he did not answer.8.) Tyler left a message on my answering machine to call him about a matter about the sale on June 7th. I returned his call later that day. When I began to talk to him about the tire and brake problems, he hung up on me. 9.) I attempted to file a complaint on a  review site about Scheidemantles. After I finished typing my complaint and hit "submit" a box appeared saying it had to be reviewed by Scheidemantle's before it would be posted. So, in other words, they weed out the ones that are not in their favor and post the ones that are positive. That is part of the reason I decided to deal with Scheidemantle Motors before the purchase, because they had positive reviews..10.) I attempted to address complaints that were not answered, that's why I filed a complaint with Revdex.com.11.) My conclusion is that the people as Scheidemantle's are dishonest and shady in their dealings.12.) In light of the facts, there are absolutely grounds for Scheidemantles to buy back the vehicle and I stand behind my request. Thank you.Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: On 06/18/2010 I purchased a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 truck. We both signed an odometer disclosure statement that stated the truck had 67088 miles on it at the time.I drove the truck for about three years and began to look for a new vehicle to trade the truck in for. When I found a vehicle I liked, the dealership looked up the vehicle history of my 2002 dodge truck and informed me it had 145392 miles on it. I was shocked to learn it had 78000 more miles than I was told at the time of purchase. Needless to say with this discrepancy there wasn't a dealer that wanted to touch my truck. I also didn't feel it would be legal for me to sell the truck without revealing the actual miles.Desired Settlement: I realize I got to use the truck for three years while I didn't know the mileage was wrong.I feel the trade in value decreased by $4000.00 or more dollars. Due to the fact I can not trade it in,I feel I should get a refund to put toward my next vehicle.

Response:

According to the State of Pennsylvania there is no odometer discrepancy on the truck purchased. We

also ran a car-fax report which also states there is no indication of an odometer rollback. Seems kind of

strange that the car was titled in Sharpsville, PA on 3-10-09, then titled in New Mexico on 6-5-09 then

back to Sharpsville, PA on 11-25 09. I would be willing to bet it was an input error on the vehicle

identification number or the miles in New Mexico. We would be more than happy to take the truck

back in on trade here if Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] want to trade it in. We have done absolutely nothing wrong

here and if we cannot depend on the State of Pennsylvania for accurate information then we have

bigger problems. We are attaching all state paperwork and car-fax tor you records.

Review: I went to look a car and was told it was 4w drive. We purchased the car, a 2012 chrysler 300. We were told prior and during the purchase transaction that the vehicle was a front wheel drive car. When going over the car the next day, checking out all the bells and whistles, my husband noticed that it was in fact rear wheel drive. This upset me greatly and we call the dealer immediately. I had mad specific request for a front wheel drive and expressed this fact many times during the sale of the car. The dealership representitive I spoke with when I notified them of this fact told me he would have to speak with the salesman that did the transaction. The next day I called and spoke the sales associate that did the sale of the car and he said he would speak with the sales manager. I did not hear back from the dealship so I called again, and spoke with the manager. He assured me that they would find me a front wheel drive. I asked to get my trade in back and they could have their car back and I would look elsewhere. They told me no, they would find me a car. That was June 10th. It is now November 14, and I am still waiting for them to "find me a car" I have been in contact with the sales manager many times over the past months and he states the same everytime,"we are looking." Now we are going into the winter months, and I am very upset and afraid to drive my small children in this vehicle that has rear wheel drive. I just want my trade back, or the money it rendered if it has been sold and to give them back this car. I will look elsewhere for a vehicle. But they will not let me out of this sale. They keep telling me that is not an option. I am very unhappy with the product, the service, and the business of this car dealership.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of all money involved, OR an all wheel drive vehicle of the same make/model due to they do not make front wheel, I have come to find out. Which they did not tell me, I found out on my own. The other option is to cancel sale completely, give me my money back and I will go elsewhere look for a car.
