Scherzinger Pest Control Reviews (8)

After reviewing Ms*** statements it is clear she has
no intent to pay for services from which her property benefitted and which were
legally authorized by her then husband. To avoid from spending
unnecessary funds to collect the money that we are due; we have decided to stop
collection towards Ms*** and write her account off to come to a mutual
resolution and close this case. Sincerely, Scherzinger Pest Control

We apologize for this misunderstanding and after reviewing your account see that the credit was not applied correctly I have made sure that credit was applied correctly and you should not receive any further bills (possibility exists there may be one in the next week or since
we sent out statements recently but just ignore if you do get it) Again we apologize for the oversight and look forward to taking care of your pest problems in the future.Sincerely,*** ***

Scherzinger Pest Control acknowledges that Ms*** was not
living in the residence at the time the services were performed. However; Scherzinger Pest Control entered
into an agreement to perform bed bug service with Mr*** (who was ***
*** legal husband at that time). Ms
*** benefitted “unjust and rich” from services performed at her property
which were signed by an authorized representative and were successfully
performed. After speaking with our
attorney further; Ms*** is responsible for the services authorized by her
then husband for the property that she solely owns. We have attached another copy of the
agreement which was signed by Ms*** husband whom by law is authorized to
sign for services at the residence due to the relationship that existed at the
time of entering into the agreement.
Scherzinger requests Ms*** pay the balance due for the services that
were rendered at her home and that she and her property benefitted from

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  This should in no way reflect on my credit history since it wasn't approved nor was I living in the home
Regards,
[redacted]

Thank you for bringing this situation to my attention. I
have researched Ms. [redacted] complaint, reviewed her account, and interviewed
all employees associated with this situation.  Following is the chain of events that
occurred:

Scherzinger
Pest Control was contacted by...

the [redacted] on December 11, 2013 at 8:00AM
to perform an inspection for bed bugs.
An appointment was set for an inspection later that afternoon at
4:30PM.
Scherzinger
Pest Control started service for bed bugs on December 12, 2013 at the location
of [redacted] which Ms.
[redacted] is currently listed on the title to the residence.
Scherzinger
Pest Control performed 3 chargeable follow-ups on December 30, 2013,
January 13, 2014, and January 27, 2014.
In addition Scherzinger Pest Control performed 2 additional no
charge services on February 10, 2014 and February 17, 2014 for reports of
bed bugs.  After the service
Scherzinger was able to determine the problem had been resolved.
Scherzinger
received payment for the initial treatment and the first follow-up but
did not receive payment for the last two follow-ups which is the
remaining balance due.
Scherzinger
made numerous attempts to collect the money both by contacting the
customer by phone and letter.
Scherzinger then sent the balance to our collection company who
also proceeded to make numerous attempts by mail and phone to alert them
that this balance would be sent to an attorney if not paid in full.
On
December 10, 2014 the past due amount was sent to Scherzinger Pest
Control’s attorney for collection.

On
April 24, 2015 Ms. [redacted] sister [redacted] called in to see what they
can do about the account and work something our for payment.  Since she was a sister of the
homeowners a Scherzinger representative told her we needed permission to
discuss the account with her.
Ms.
[redacted] then called in on April 24, 2015 and gave her sister [redacted]
permission to speak on her behalf about the account.
Shortly
after Scherzinger Pest Control representative call [redacted] back and
gave her Scherzinger Pest Control’s attorney information since the
account had been turned over to them.
After
receiving this complaint we discussed with our attorney and she stated
since Ms. [redacted] is still listed on the title to this residence and was
married to the person who signed up for the service at that location; Ms.
[redacted] is responsible for the remaining balance.

These are the facts as I have been able to identify them and
feel that we are owed the remaining balance for the services. I have attached
the authorized agreement by [redacted].
Sincerely,
[redacted]

We agree to credit the account to resolve this issue.During the time frame discussed; this property was under a retreat warranty and Scherzinger did not hear back from them about any issues or concerns after our last service that the pest were still present until the bill was issued.  We would...

have came out within 30 days (warranty period) at no charge and addressed the problem under our warranty for the services performed.Sincerely,Kurt S[redacted]General ManagerScherzinger Pest Control

I did not authorize this, I left me husband some time ago and he must have authorized it and signed and he's not even on the deed to the home.. He is now in a nursing home with Brain Damage.. I didn't sign for this and I'm not responsible.  They must not have even checked who's name was on the house until must not have paid the bill... We have been in the middle of a divorce which has been held up and that's why my sister called asking for proof that I signed something which I didn't.   This needs to be dropped asap or go after [redacted] in the [redacted].  I had no authorization in this.  Thank you, [redacted]
