Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
We have spoken to Volkswagen and they have acknowledged that there is an open recall on this carThe car is unsafe to drive and I would like for the dealership to take the car backI paid more than I had originally planned on this car and have had nothing but issues two days after buying the carIt is nothing that I would like to deal with anymore especially since I am expectingI have had the car towed to the Volkswagen dealer and had the codes tested to see what they were and they also could not give me a straight answer eitherLike I said before I just do not want the carIt is to much of a hassle
Sincerely,

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this customer. I have spoken to this customer and [redacted] Chrysler has agreed to repurchase the vehicle back from the customer. The customer was informed and will be calling the dealership to schedule an appointment to meet with the sales manager.

I needed to add this to my rejection letter. Reference # [redacted]Dear Mr. [redacted],I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to follow up on our phone conversation. To clarify what we spoke about, please know that Volkswagen dealers should have all open recalls completed on a vehicle before that vehicle is sold as new or as Certified Pre-Owned (CPO). This is a Volkswagen policy and applies to authorized VW dealers.I hope this information is useful to you. Should you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us again at VW Customer CARE.Sincerely,[redacted] Customer CARE AdvocateWe have also been to a different dealership who refused to even let us test drive the car because it was dangerous. Because of the recall. It amazes me that there are so many issues with this car and it was so easy to be able to test drive and let alone buy the car. Listed above is an email from  Volkswagen listing what they as a company expect out of the dealers selling their cars. If this could please be added to my rejection letter I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this customer concern. The customer purchased a 2013 VW CC from our dealership on October 3, 2016. At that time the customer was issued a Car Fax statement. The Car Fax was clear and had no recalls listed. The customer noted this fact on their complaint...

to the Revdex.com.  Checking this vehicle identification number with the manufacturer; VW shows that a notice of a recall was mailed to customers in April of this year stating a recall will be coming available sometime in the future. I spoke with the people at VW. They stated this is simply a precautionary measure. No injuries have been sustained in any vehicles like this one because of air bag failures. VW is not putting customers in rental vehicles until the recall has been created because VW feels it is not a hazard.  As of today this vehicle does not have any open recalls. Simply a letter of intent from the manufacturer stating one will be issued at a later date.  The customer mentioned she has some concerns with the vehicle since the purchase date. The customer should bring the vehicle in for diagnosis to resolve those concerns. We have not seen the vehicle in service since purchased. The customer was provided with a powertrain warranty at no cost to the customer. I do not know if the customer purchased an additional coverage contract or not. Thank you in advance.Respectfully,  [redacted]Fixed Operations DirectorSchicker Automotive Group[redacted]
