Ms [redacted] purchased a sofa or 5-31-and took delivery on 6.1-from Schiers Furniture in Chambersburg, PAThe sofa was signed for in good condition by [redacted] for Ms [redacted] into a room with no other furniture in it (1) that day.More then a month later on 7-7-Ms [redacted] reported to Schiers that she sound an I shape tear on the front of the right arm of her sofa that was under the manufacture tag.On 7-13-our men went out to Ms [redacted] 's house and inspected her sofa and took pictures of her complaintThis time the room was filled with furniture.After reviewing the pictures and talking to our men that delivered and then inspected this sofa it was determined that this was not a warranty issue.I then talked to Ms [redacted] on 7-15-and tried to explain our situation with her sofa and that where this tear is and also the time lapse from delivery to the complaint that of men could not have missed this tear on her sofathen tried to offer ways to rectify the problem and possibly file a claim with Ultrashield which is the fabric protection that she purchased at the time she purchased the sofaShe did not want to do this.In closing, the sofa was signed for in good condition when it was initially deliveredMore then days later it has large tear on the front of it which is in a very obvious placeWe would be more then happy to help Ms [redacted] fix her sofa to like new condition by selling her the necessary repair parts and suggesting the appropriate craftsman, but she is unwilling to compromise.Sincerely,Rick B***

As in previous letters received from you we can tell, we are getting no where with these responses.We have been in business for quite some time now and it is from taking good care of our customers when they have legitimate complaints, Ms [redacted] 's complaint was not legitimateIt took days for her to complain about a problem that was directly in front of her sofa that could not possibly have been missed.This is our final response to this complaint.Sincerely,Rick B***

I am rejecting this response because:Even though they stated that they went over the couch with spray to protect it , if so why was the tag, that they have previously stated was put on by the manufacture, not damaged in any way after being sprayed with a solution?  Also, they want me to compromise but I have yet to hear anything they are willing to do to solve this problem financially. Putting me in contact with people that can fix it is not taking any financial responsibility. Also, when they told me to call the material warranty they told me to tell them it happened within five days of the time I called and that did not happen. I do call that a lie. I live in a calm house with one older son who doesn't even go in the living room. This tear did not happen in my house or while bringing in furniture as you have alluded to. Due to my husbands death my son and I had to down size and move. I have never bought anything new in the line of furniture before and my sister talked me into doing something for myself as a new start. This situation has not been a rewarding one at all. I paid over $800.00 for a couch in cash and now don't have the support of the business or manufacture (at least they say not) for a damaged product. You tell me now since I wrote to the Revdex.com that you have the solution, which you did not notify me of before, but have not told me what you are willing to pay to fix this issue, if anything. Please advise of this issue so that I can get this issue resolved one way or another.
