My kitchen sink drain was clogged and in an effort to support a local business, I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing They were very responsive to my call and dispatch a plumber When making the appointment, the initial representative say there was a $fee and that was all Plumber arrived un-clogged the drain and now I have a bill for $($for service and $fee) I feel like I was ripped off because I was not informed of the cost beyond the $service call

*** was the one that answered our call for help and he answered with a solution...and quoted us 70% less than the first company we contacted We have bad plumbing to begin with and it requires a certain amount of due diligence to maintain and we got behind My solution has always been to access the cleanout and rent a power auger to fix the issue This time the power auger decided to kink itself in the mainline and when I tried pulling it out I broke the cleanoutThat means no flushing, showering, or even washing our hands, not to mention sewer gases that seep back inCompany RR came out and quoted us $4,and wanted to excavate the concrete and replace feet of pipe to properly put the cleanout back on Patrick came out, quoted us $and almost hours of workIt required some chiseling and drywall cutting to get better access In the end, he was able to finish the job and in budget It took a little bit longer than expected, but the work he provided was well worth it He also inspected the water heater and something else which I didn't expect but it might be part of their service To sum it all up, *** with Benjamin Franklin - Dayton, OH is the man for plumbing issues He has several certifications that allow him to work on medical and military stuff which is really nice to know

My experience with Ben Franklin Plumbing was very positive Patrick was the service representative who came to our house He was very knowledgeable and explained what was needed to fix our problem He then proceeded with the repairs and completed everything in a timely manner I would definitely use Ben Franklin again and ask for Patrick
We had Andrew move a gas line for our new oven and he installed our kitchen sink/faucet and prepare the hookups for our dishwasherAndrew was efficient and explained the reasoning for the work that needed doneHe was also willing to work with us to meet our needs as we have totally renovated our kitchenWe will definitely call for his help when we are ready to update features in our bathroom

I feel like I was ripped off because I was not informed of the cost beyond the $79 service call.
We were very happy with the service that our plumber, Patrick S. provided. He was very knowledgeable and very detail orientated. He was also very respectful of our home and did not leave any trace behind that we had had work done! Because of him, we will now be loyal customers to Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. The company has high morals with integrity that is hard to find these days!
Patrick has been to my house twice and both times provided excellent, knowledgeable plumbing service with a friendly demeanor. He replaced a sump pump and external faucet and explained what he was doing every step of the way. I would use him and the Ben Franklin plumbing company again in the future.
