Review: In May of 2013, I contracted with this organization to reupholster my sofa. I received a quote of $1929. The sofa was picked up on June 1, 2013. I moved into my new home about the middle of June and had expected that my sofa would be completed sometime in July. I was never contacted by the company regarding my sofa and I contacted them sometime near the end of July. I was told that they had a job that came in and had to be completed by the end of June and that caused our sofa upholstering to be delayed. Still there was no call to me from the company by the third week in August. I called again and was told again that another job had pushed the completion of my sofa later. The sofa was finally delivered on Sept.15, 2013. I was totally dissatisfied with the sofa upholstery. I was away for a couple of weeks after the delivery was made and contacted the company the second week in October. The company finally sent someone to look at the sofa on Oct. 22,2013. He left and said that [redacted] Schlager would contact me for pick-up of the sofa. I next heard from [redacted] a month later on Nov. 20 and made arrangements for them to pick up the sofa on Nov. 30, 2013. As of this date, I am still waiting for that pick-up and have heard nothing. I believe that I have been more than patient in dealing with Schlager Upholstery and am not happy to be making this complaint, but I cannot understand how they can still be in business after 50+ years if this the way they handle customer relations!!Desired Settlement: I would like monetary compensation so that I can have someone else make the necessary repairs for my sofa. I have no more patience to deal with them.
