Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The business owners claim that our prior landscaping company was terminated for not showing up is completely falseThe reason given to the sales rep (also the owner's son) was due to the dumping of grass clippings onto the private property across the streetIt was made abundantly clear that no dumping was permitted on that property and this company did it, several timesHe also states that there was never a contract & we were free to terminate their service at any timeHowever, I have a letter from him dated 11/16/which states that it is the companies policy to be given days to remedy any problem with the serviceThe owners son was contacted by phone times over the course of July & August about trimming not being done throughout the entire yard with each visit & grass cllippings/large clumps of grass being left in the yardWhen the phone calls to the son did not remedy the issue, I contacted the owner by phoneHe told me that he would come out to the house to look for himselfHe never came out & he never calledSo the problems were not remedied within days & just continuedI did not wait until the end of the season, nor did I wait until a large bill had accrued to terminate this companyI had sent a letter to the owner because calls were not resolving the issueAfter I did not receive a response to that letter, I sent a 2nd letter at which time I terminated their servicesThis company has very poor customer serviceMost reputable businesses would pick up the phone & call the client after receiving a letterI had to send letters! Only after the 2nd letter was sent did I receive a letter back from the owner, again dated 11/My 1st letter was sent in early October & the 2nd was sent on 10/It took weeks for him to respondI felt that with the unprofessional job that was done, with the illegal action of dumping grass clippings on private property on more than one occasion, the fact that the owner said he would come out and never did and terrible customer service by not responding to calls and letters warranted more than a 20% discountPlease see the attached images, which are only a few of the pictures that were printed & sent with my letter to the owner Regards, [redacted]

She claimed that the previous company had stopped showing up. The price that she has been charged was the price that was agreed upon between our sales rep... and herself. There was never a contract between us and she was free to cancel our services at any point that she was dissatisfied. Only after the season had come to and end and she had accrued charges of almost $500 did she terminate our services. She is now refusing to pay any of the outstanding charges unless we agree to give her a substantial discount of her choosing. We offered her a 20% discount from her balance owed if it was paid by the 1st of December.
