No hot drinks
My wife and I haven't been to a Schlotsky's in a decade but I remembered the cinnamon buns and decided to give it a try. The refrigerated display case was empty. The bottom which I recall having various fresh items and drinks was empty and dusty and the top was being used as a junk drawer. The ice machine was broken. They only had two cinnamon buns out on a plate and packaged small buns in a display and I mean small. My wife's food was delivered quickly but I had to wait a long time for my cinnamon bun. People who came in after us were served before I was. Though warm and cinnamony the bun was dry on the bottom. The paddle wheel chandelier above our table was dusty which was very evident since it was painted black. My wife's sandwich was crisp and tasty but her salad had no dressing. And it is the cold season yet they have no hot drinks. My cold unsweetened tea was the kind of bitter from sitting out too long.

Never got our food
We to this place and ordered food. 30 minutes later no food. Went to the cashier and asked where’s our food. They said they were busy. Ok I’ll take a refund. She said we don’t do refunds. So I left with nothing. Disputed my card charge and they LIED and said we got our food. I received no refund. This was the worst experience of my entire life.

Terrible
Since covid the quality, service and price (for what you get) is just terrible. The bread is plain, the amount of meat is as bad as Subway. Forget any kind of service. However, the stores are clean. This review comes after visiting several Austin TX locations.One star for cleanliness.

Roanoke Texas always closes early on Fridays
Why is it in Roanoke Texas on Highway 377 they are closing 45 minutes early on Friday when they're supposed to be closing at 10:00 p.m. I'd be more than happy to buy a sandwich but you have to be open to do that

Usually my favorite but how food was and treatment was terrible today!
I have consistently bought sandwiches from Schlotzkys in Stephenville location every 2 weeks for my family when we go to see my Mother...today was a really bad experience not only with the food but also with the response after contacting the manager regarding the food quality...I order the same type sandwich all the time it's a huge favorite in our family but paid for a deluxe...and they said they made it but it was not since I do buy the same sandwich all the time I know what a deluxe looks like and also the meat was dried out and the order was wrong and realized it when I got home after picking it up inside and called and the manager there was so rude...not even gee we are sorry your item was not good no customer service and we won't be back to this location. Manager kept saying saw them make it which since I was inside while it was being made as well but I know the sandwich was not a deluxe and the meat was dried out and they blamed the oven or whatever but didn't offer any other apology and got the order wrong with what was supposed to be on the sandwich...just a bad experience one that makes people not want to go back..these are cheap sandwiches spent almost 25.00 there to get 2 very bad sandwiches and very bad customer service. Everyone at my house looked at the sandwiches and were shocked at the bad quality...dried overheated meat and lack of it just won't cut it for the price you pay for the food.

*** *** I greatly appreciate the apology it means a lot to me as we were treated horribly by this franchiseI had reached out to Schlotzsky online through twitter and I was promised a contact by this franchises private owner as I was told through them that this psyiculer franchise is privately ownedHowever no person from that franchise has yet to contact me therefore it is with great regret that I can never go to Schlotzsky again for fear of retaliation after I had to go through such extreme measures to get my refund it is very sad when this could and should have been handled that night at tge franchiseI’m not positive that I even believe whether or not a refund is being mailed but I really hope do vexause it is the right appropriate thing to do
