I did an online quote for burial insurance on my motherI then received an email from Matt L Schmidt thanking me for opening his emails several timesHe stated I had given them a non working phone number and that he would personally give me a at (my employer name) Granted I never gave my employer name or number at any time during the online quote processI replied and said thanks but no thanks, and the fact he knew where I worked was creepyHis reply was Providing a fake number was childish, lastly who waits until their parents are in their 80's to take out insurance???? That is extremely irresponsibleWe'll have some agents call you at work later todayPlease learn how to use the internet like an adult

Matt Schmidt was able to provide our family life insurance *** *** *** *** could not from start to finish he handled our case Could not ask for better service! We refer Matt every chance we get!!!

[redacted] Response to ID [redacted]I received this complaint thru the mail, on August 26th, and a little concerned your organization is already posting this matter that I didn't respond. I was away on a business trip for 10 days, and again shouldn't have to drop everything to appease you.Since I'm not...

affiliated with the Revdex.com, I do not have to drop everything, to reply to your organizations demands.[redacted] inquired for Burial Insurance, for a family member thru an online lead provider I buy leads from.She provided a FAKE phone #. Also, according the the privacy policy of the website she inquired thru, it allows for them to use IP Address to validate and track the leads. Also, by providing her information thru the website, that allows us to email or call individuals. This website also mandates people who want information, to provide a working phone #, as an agent would be contacting them. [redacted] agreed to these terms, as she hit the "agree" button, and clicked submit.[redacted] emailed us, and said she changed her phone # one hour after doing inquiry. [redacted] also left me a minute long voice mail, to which she said she accidentally gave a wrong #. It seems [redacted] can't keep her story straight. Also in the voice mail, [redacted] made threats to me and my business. This phone call was made after I had emailed her, asking her to cease contact. All of these emails and phone calls are saved, and time stamped. We are more then happy to share to the public, if Revdex.com will post it on the website.[redacted] is a member of [redacted], and we had to file a legal complaint against her with that organization as well, due to her threatening behavior.[redacted] was also sent a cease and desist letter from our attorney, telling her not to contact us any more. She ignored that request, and called my office 2 more times.We would appreciate it if the Revdex.com would stop posting fictitious complaints on a website, as to which we are not affiliated with.

Real piece of garbage Matt is. He is dishonest, rude and is actually under investigation from the Department of insurance for illegal practices and violating HIPPA as well as illegal phone recordings. (You can even see his comments stating that he will gladly share recorded voicemails with the public. That would violate not only state law but many federal laws as well.)
He is misquoting people to gather information and then signing them up for much more expensive plans than quoted, claiming rates changed after he submitted the application. This is 100% untrue about rate changes and he is facing many Errors and Ommisions law suits that are being escalated to criminal suits for falsifying documents.
Don't fall for any of his antics and just look at his responses. They are rude and unprofessional, would you want this person to be allowed to manage your financial future?

Also he needs to have his license pulled from selling insurance.

This has to be the worst company that I have ever dealt with. The owner will harass you via phone and email if you do not respond right away. He sent me a very rude and unprofessional email this morning after calling me back to back. I would not advise anyone to do business with this company. I seriously doubt that this company would even pay a claim when needed.

Review: My complaint involves the unperfessional and disrespectful of an assoicate at Schmidt Matt financial services group.I received a phone call at 6:37pm Tuesday ( 8/13/13 ).the call I got involves the selling of a life insurance policy, which I decline from this company Schmidt financial service.the assoicate kept trying to sell me something I already had received from another company. I kept saying no thank you, he was being persistance.finally his last comment to me was don't be a ( * ) yes the (*)word.before I could say something to him, he hung up on me.I tried 3 times to call him back, each x he would hang up on me.Wednesday I tried calling the owner to tell him about this,got his voice msg,left him msg to return my call.nothing from him call later left msg with assoicate.still no return call.another problem I have with this, if the assoicate talk to me like this wanting my business,I said no thank you, how many other people he talk to because they said no thank you.would never do business r have any company representing me r my family or friends with a employee like this person.13 years he said he's been in this business,that's really sad I would never hire or condone this from anyone.Desired Settlement: My settlement requires an former apology from the assoicate.and that he be repermanded for his actions.I could even said fired but I want.but if this is publish an others complaints are filed with the Revdex.com,about this company,with the same complaint and the same person then he should b fired.this kind of verbal treatment by anyone should not be comdone.

VERY rude. If you do not respond immediately to their emails after you ask for information they send 4 or 5 a day, when you tell them you are dealing with another company because of the harassment , they accuse you of being rude, ignorant, and dishonest. I will NEVER use or recommend them. The other company I found and am currently working with is MUCH better.
