Schmidt's Collision & Glass Reviews (2)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted] we would like to have someone we trust since the job has been done twice and not satisfied with it. This is why I'm asking for payment back. Like he said he told me he didn't want to help me anymore. He frightened me the last time I was there. I was told by 2 other professionals that they need to redo there job so that I could get my colors on my door to match rest of car.

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted].Car brought in 12/11/14.  The car was picked up 3 months ago.  The car is a 4 door 2007 Suzuki Forenza painted different colors.  When the driver side door is opened, the color is gold.  Someone else painted the entire exterior of the car. We were...

supposed to paint a front bumper cover, fix a hood, a left fender and blend the color into the front door.  A color analyzer had to be done to match the color.  The air bag light was on and she states that it wasn't on prior to bringing it in.  We had the car diagnosed and it turns out the air bag system was not communicating to the module and was a pre-existing condition.  At that point she said she understood - she came to pick up the car and said there was dirt in the paint on the fender.  I advised customer to take vehicle now and scheduled vehicle to come back in about 3 weeks and advised I would repaint it.  She brought it back and we painted the fender again.  There were many other chips in the paint so we went around and dabbed paint on them for her.  Then she picked up car and said the car is shaking.  She took it to Sam's Club and they stated that there was a rim bent on the rear of the vehicle - and she had driven 700 miles from the first time it was fixed to the second time.  We went to a junkyard and bought a rim and put it on the car for her as a courtesy, which fixed the shaking problem that we had nothing to do with.  Now she states there is a crack in the paint on the front bumper.  I showed them that the paint was fractured which is a sign of impact, meaning someone must have hit her.  We had already gone above and beyond for her, I had offered to brush touch it for her and she was not satisfied and became angry.  I had to ask her to leave. After all of this, the gentleman she was with came in and asked if I would please brush touch the bumper for her, and I did so.  Now she is stating that the car needs to be repainted and wants a refund of $1,200.00.  I had to blend the color into the door because I had replaced the fender and the car was different colors.  If there is a door problem, I will try to address any door problem that she has.  Throughout all of this however, there is no mention of the door.  If the issue is a color issue, again, we had to have the color analyzed and a match created and blended due to the fact that there is no paint code for the car color as it had been completely repainted elsewhere.
