Our technicians use software installed on their cellular phones
to log in and out of service calls. The technician handling your this logged in at 2:pm and out at 3:pm on June 8, 2016. Following is his description of the work that was performed:
Upon arriving the customer said that when she tried it early it was workingWent ahead and tested with an airflow tester and was given bad airflow lightPulled the front bottom panel off and looked inside and found the venting had dislocated from itself and was blowing lint into the dryer bodyHad to pull the door off and unbolt the blower in order to get the two pipes back togetherHave no idea how this happened in the first placeVacuumed as much of the lint as I couldAlso found a dead mummified bird that crawled through the vent and died in the dryerReinstalled all the vents and panels and tested again with airflow tester with the same resultsThey had a really bad vent set up that goes up and through the wall into the spare bedroom and out the wall, complete with duck tape. Recommend to the customer to replace the section from the dryer to the vent and clean the other sectionAnd also add a dryer vent on the outside with a vent flapper to keep out uninvited guests
This wridescribes work that would normally take over an hour to perform. We believe our technician was honest and truthful in logging his time
However, since the serviceman in question is no longer in our employ and we cannot ask him about the details of this service call, we offer a refund of the disputed minutes. The refund total will be $including tax
