Schneider Home Services

Schneider agreed to complete a service I already paid for and do other services for me within my home. He asked for a payment down of $260 which I gave him on 1/10/20. After several contacts by me he never completed these services just made continued promises. I then asked him to return the money so I could fine someone else to do these jobs. No contact whatsoever from him. I received his card from Lowes in Clay, NY so I notified them and am now notifying this bureau. I feel he stole the money from me and would like it returned I gave the check to him in good faith. How can I get retribution?

On June 5, 2018, Mr. Schneider accepted a $450.00 deposit for materials and work scheduled on my rental property. Mr. Schneider subsequently developed health issues which prevent him from performing the work. Despite several phone calls, voice mail messages, and a certified letter which Mr. Schneider signed for, he has not returned my calls nor refunded my deposit.
