Please accept this letter as a response to yours dated January 10th, sent to Schneider Transport IncPlease be advised that INS Insurance, Incis the captive insurance company for all Schneider entities and as such handles their claimsWe have received and reviewed the complaint submitted by Ms***This loss stems from an accident which occurred on 12/31/on Interstate near Chicago, IllinoisThis loss was reported to INS Insurance, Inc(INS) on 12/31/The Schneider driver indicated that the driver of the other vehicle, MrJoseph ***, received a citation for driving without insurance and improper lane usageOn January 2, Ms*** contacted INSOur associate, Ms***, spoke with Ms*** regarding how the loss occurredMs*** was informed that we needed to complete our investigation of the loss which included speaking with Mr*** as well as a witness to the lossWe also needed to obtain a copy of the police reportMsKowlaski attempted to reach Mr*** that same dayA voicemail message was left to return our callMs*** had also reached out to the witness and left a voicemailMs*** contacted MsKowlaski on January 3rdShe was informed that we still needed to talk to Mr*** as well as the witnessTwo voicemails were left for Mr*** the prior day and that we had not received a return phone callOn January 5th, after still not receiving a return call from Mr***, Ms*** contacted him againA message was left on his voicemail to return our callOn January 9th, Ms*** contact INSShe was advised that liability was still pending as we had not been able to reach Mr*** or the independent witnessMs*** was able to speak with Mr*** then later that dayOn January 20th, we again reached out to the independent witness finally with successAfter speaking with the witness, out initial investigation was completeMs*** contacted Ms*** and requested that she forward estimates of her property damage to us for reviewWhen we receive the estimates we will review and contact Ms*** to discussPlease contact me if you have any other questionsSincerely, Sara *** Litigation Director (920)***[email protected]

Ms. [redacted]. This loss stems from an accident which occurred on 12/31/2016 on Interstate 90 near Chicago, Illinois. This loss was reported to INS Insurance, Inc. (INS) on 12/31/2016. The Schneider driver indicated that the driver of the other vehicle, Mr. Joseph [redacted], received a citation for driving without insurance and improper lane usage. On January 2, Ms. [redacted] contacted INS. Our associate, Ms. [redacted], spoke with Ms. [redacted] regarding how the loss occurred. Ms. [redacted] was informed that we needed to complete our investigation of the loss which included speaking with Mr. [redacted] as well as a witness to the loss. We also needed to obtain a copy of the police report. Ms. Kowlaski attempted to reach Mr. [redacted] that same day. A voicemail message was left to return our call. Ms. [redacted] had also reached out to the witness and left a voicemail. Ms. [redacted] contacted Ms. Kowlaski on January 3rd. She was informed that we still needed to talk to Mr. [redacted] as well as the witness. Two voicemails were left for Mr. [redacted] the prior day and that we had not received a return phone call. On January 5th, after still not receiving a return call from Mr. [redacted], Ms. [redacted] contacted him again. A message was left on his voicemail to return our call. On January 9th, Ms. [redacted] contact INS. She was advised that liability was still pending as we had not been able to reach Mr. [redacted] or the independent witness. Ms. [redacted] was able to speak with Mr. [redacted] then later that day. On January 20th, we again reached out to the independent witness finally with success. After speaking with the witness, out initial investigation was complete. Ms. [redacted] contacted Ms. [redacted] and requested that she forward estimates of her property damage to us for review.
