on this date I took my dog to Dr*** *** at Blue Oak Veterinary Hospital, *** *** *** *** ** *** ** ***My year old dog was in terrible pain for an unknown reasonHe was lethargic with rapid breathing , had difficulty walking (because of pain), No physical injuries were seenDr*** took him in on an "emergency" appointment at 10am on May 29thShe determined he had abdominal bleeding She took an xray and saw no evidence of tumor(s) that had rupturedShe did an in house blood test and told me the internal bleeding "wasnt that bad"Her diagnosis was that he had been kicked by a horseAt the time of the appointment , she said she was going to try to stablize him and re-evaluate his condition in a few hoursShe said she would put him on IV fluids
I went home thinking he was going to be ok
No one called me, so I called at 3pm and the receptionist told me he had improved some and I should take him home overnight and bring him back in the morni
