We purchased brand new tires from Schofield Auto The very first time we drove in snow (less than one inch), it was like driving on ice skates We scheduled an appointment the very next day; the car was seen three days later After looking at the car he stated the tires were "days past the day satisfaction guaranteed period", which we had been told nothing about We contacted him multiple times after this (over a day period) and each time they stated "their rep was out of town" or their rep was "on vacation" We told him we were not looking for something for nothing; not trying to get away with anything, but we needed to feel safe driving our car We asked him to please just help us - even if we had to pay a "pro-rated" price or something After almost two weeks of stall tactics from Schofield Auto, we went right to the Bridgestone corporation During our conversation with the corporate office, they scheduled an inspection appointment with the local Firestone/Bridgestone store The very next morning, we had brand new tires on my car with absolutely ZERO cost to us Their store manager explained that if Schofield Auto would have simply called the Bridgestone hour customer service line, he could have provided us the same service they did - new tires and a fully satisfied customer Schofield Auto not only lied to us about a "rep" when they could have simply called the customer service line, (they said this multiple times), they made zero effort to help us They took our money for tires (which by the way the local Bridgestone store said were absolutely not tires they would recommend for Wisconsin winter driving) and left us with a car that was a hazard not only to us, but to others on the road The last time my husband contacted Schofield Auto, they said they would get back to us - several days later - still NOTHING BEWARE of this business; they offer horrible and very questionable customer service
