Okay so I have live in campus west apts for a year now and have called management sevral times about the roach/bed bug infestation they send some guy out to spray,then when I called the second time because I was getting bit in my sleep they told me that I can bomb it myself!so after realizing all there going to do is spray stuff.I bombed it twice! And I still get bit in my sleep so now Im moving out. But would like to put this on hear so that people may know.Its a cheap apt but this whole building Iis INFESTED!!! And they r not going to do nothin about it"but yet keep jacking rent up".","neg-2

This is the worst apartment complex I have ever rented from. I have never been treated the way I have since I started dealing with this company. 1st letterI [redacted] F [redacted] rented your unit at [redacted] Dr Apt [redacted] Raleigh NC, XXXXX as of 2/1/16. I informed the leasing agent [redacted] that the hall towel was running consistently, as well as the dining room light missing, and the patio blinds missing. The next day a maintenance worker entered the unit and to my knowledge fixed the problems, except for the Blinds. This happened on 2/2/2016. I then received a bill from the city of Raleigh for $556.14 on 3/16/2016. I am fully aware of the past due balance of $197.84 that was carried over from an old bill, but the currents months charges $353.30 was a shock. The current month's bill was from dates 2/2/16-3/3/2016. There was no possible way I used that much water in one month. I then contacted Schrader properties on 2/16/2016 for the second time asking for someone to fix the toilet in the hall bath that was supposed to be fixed as of 2/2/16. I also requested a letter stating there was a leak or running toilet to be sent to me so that I can inform the water company and they can make the adjustment to the bill. I received a letter on 3/23/16 from[redacted]. As I do thank you for the letter stating that there was in fact a leak or running toilet but I was shocked to see how unprofessional this letter was. Not only did the letter state that I allowed the toilet to run for 16 days before making a maintenance request it also stated it was my responsibility to take care of the bill with the city of Raleigh. Well that is incorrect, I informed you on 2/1/2016 that there was a leak and you stated it was fixed. I was unaware there was still a problem until I received the bill. I assumed when your company says they fixed a problem that it is fixed. I also am aware that it is my responsibility to handle the bill with the city of Raleigh, it was unnecessary and unprofessional, to put that information in the letter. The letter portrayed me in the light as a bad or neglectful tenant, and that was very much unappreciated. I then called on 3/31/16 and spoke with[redacted] to discuss my concerns and I feel it was taken very lightly. I was told by her that it was the owner's wishes to word the letter in that manner and to write a written complain. Thus is the reasoning behind this letter. I just wanted a letter stating there was a leak and it was taken care of on 3/17/16. However per the determination of the city of Raleigh on 4/4/16, I will be following up with [redacted] Properties about the remaining portion to be paid or taking further action. I do not feel it is my responsibility to pay for a leak that I attempted to fixed prior to me moving into the unit. Thank you again, and I will be in touch.2nd letterAs of 06/10/2016 my neighbor under me reported to [redacted] that she had a leak from my unit into her apartment ceiling. The Maintenance man came into my unit that day and stated that there was no leak there was a dog water boil that he sat outside; that he believes could have been the reason for the leak. I informed [redacted] Properties as well as my neighbor informed them that is not possible. There is no way that a dog bowl could have caused a leak from one apartment to another enough for her to have to put a buck on her table to catch the water. Also I have pictures of my dry carpet from that day that disputes what he was saying. I also never ever feed the dog inside, only on the back deck outside. I also have pictures of where I place the water boil that morning and where left that afternoon and it was never moved. On Monday night 6/13/16 I was washing clothes and my machine made a weird noise and I smelled a burning smell, I cut it off immediately. I called the emergency line Tuesday morning 6/14/16, and was told to just call the office when it opens. I called the office at 8:49 AM on 6/14/16 and reported the problem. I let her know that the washing machine was full of water that would not drain. The receptionist stated she will send someone out. There is lots more.Desired SettlementI have asked 3 times both in writing and verbally to have the carpet replaced. I have also requested them to come spray the unit for Roaches, which they have yet to do. I am just very unhappy with the lack of respect and professionalism. They are super rude on the phone and the maintenance men are complete liars and very untrustworthy. They have enter my unit at least three times and claimed they fixed things and did things that they didn't do. I don't feel comfortable with them in my unit any further because I can't trust them.Business Response The tenant living below Ms. [redacted] reported a water leak coming from Ms. [redacted]' apartment. Maintenance pursued the problem and initially could not induce the leak when he got there. He found an illegal dog (in violation of her lease) in the apartment and found a large bowl of water for the dog. He suggested that the water bowl may have gotten knocked over by the dog. The maintenance man went back a second time and ran the washing machine for 30 minutes and found it to be leaking. We have replaced the washing machine with a new one and Ms. [redacted] has removed her illegal dog.

so the apt I live in"campus west" is infested with roaches! And I have called lots of time they either spray stuff or tell me to bomb it haha!! Plus I have friends that stay in other apts that are reanted out from these same ppl and they say just about the same as me. Also not to mention my ac/heat went out took them a month to replace it. Then when there techs come in to do anything they leave the lights on and there garbage/mess everywhere! So be careful renting from these people. There in it just for the money!! ","neg-1
