I have reviewed the complaint made by Mr*** *** and would like to explain what transpired. *** *** was a patient of Dr *** but has not been seen since October *** came in to our office with a outside prescription and vision insurance*** one of our girls in the optical boutique helped him pick out his glasses and complete his orderWe billed the vision insurance for the glassesWhen we notified him that his glasses were in he came in to pick them up, Mr *** said they "were perfect"Then he came back a few days later stating that the Bifocal height was too high so *** helped him and placed a order for the remakeThe glasses came back and we called Mr *** and he came in to pick them up, at that time Mr *** once again said "they were perfect" and leftA couple of days later Mr *** came back in and saying something was wrong with the glasses, "he could not see well" out of one of the lens, *** verified the prescription and it was the same as the prescription he had given us*** at that time told Mr *** he would need to go back to the Dr that wrote the prescription and see what he suggestedMR *** did that and came back in with a new prescription, *** at that time told him with a prescription change, his insurance and our lab there may be a charge for the remake*** at that time went and called the lab that makes the lens just to verify they did in fact inform her that because the prescription changed and was a defective lens or error on our end there would be a chargeHad the prescription stayed the same we could have sent in for another height adjustment etc but with the whole prescription changing it was not at the fault of our office or the lab we had sent the prescription to.Please if you have any questions feel free to call or email me.Thank you,*** ***

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Those are not the facts I was told they would do one remakeI gave them another pair of glasses to measure for the bifocal heightfor the first pairThey were wrong,and took a couple of days to try and adjustEvery time I bought glasses I was told then that glasses were different and to try them for a couple of days to adjustThe bifocal was not right as compared to the other, as I was told they would beThe mistake was theirsYes I had a rx change, on one lens but I was told one remake, I guess that includes their mistakes.
