On June 12, 2018, I contacted *** *** to repair a pin hole leak in a cold water line located in our basement ceiling Upon arrival of the technician, my husband explained that we have had many repairs in the past due to our old copper piping, which has been deteriorating and resulting in pin hole and bigger leaking areas My husband asked for the technicians expertise in determining what needed to be done to prevent further leaking and deterioration The technician responded that we would need a whole home replacement of the copper piping into pex (plastic) piping He offered to give us an estimate of that work at the end of the repair job for our currently leaking pipe Upon inspection of our current leak, the technician entered a work order into his portable computer system and asked for my husband's signature The description of the job was to "expose leak in ceiling, cut open ceiling to expose leak for repair access, install/replace ball valve" The technician did no
