they came out to do maintenance on my gas fire place and during the process they broke my Igniter said because it was 27yrs old he said they break easy only thing is my house is 15yrs old, they had the part but wanted to charge me $dollars and pulse $maintenance fee pulse tax I said I cant do it at this time the problem is when I open it up to see if I could get the part I found out he never even finished clean it I understand they couldn't do some of the testing on the gas line but they should have finished cleaning it out I paid for the maintenance and they did not finish the job I have contacted them with no response they should have tried to make this right sincerely [redacted] daly

The tech was on timeHe was very professionalHe installed the new part very quickly and explained it's operation

I informed the company that my Ac was turning off and on and temperature inside the house would go up at that timeIf we hosed down the Ac it would start working againThey send someone out to clean it and look it over for $They came out cleaned it and said it needed a capacitorI told them it was still under warranty and that it should be covered, they said we would have to call the manufacturer to see if part was coveredThey quoted $300+ To replace- our understanding was that was for parts & laborWe called their office gave them the phone number to call to make the warranty claimThey said they would have the service man & manager come out the next dayThey came out and said again it was the capacitor and it would be $300+ I said again the part was covered & that I had called their office the day before with infoFor them to make the claim so it should not be $300+They said we needed to call their office again and the left( keep in mind the tempOutside was both these days) I called their office again the woman on the phone was rude and insisted that the labor cost was $300+ I said they had told me the day before that $300+ would be the cost for parts & labor not just labor which is what I should only be paying since part was coveredI asked for a manager to call-- NEVER got a call backI went on line and looked up the capacitor that they said was bad and found it only takes 10minTo replace and cost was $or less so their quote was way out of line! I called another Revdex.com company who came over for free , checked everything out, tightened up some things said there was nothing wrong with the capacitorAC has worked fine since Was very dissatisfied with MagicTouch

This is a dishonest company who sold me on a fireplace valve to lower my gas costs When I found out from other vendors there is no such thing this company denied telling me this Not only the workman who sold me but their supervisor said the same thing when I called the office They then claimed my order was a customer order which was total BS I cancelled the order before delivery and they kept $ The workman also left a 7" gash in my glass dining table from his metal sales receipt folder When they breached the contract by selling under pretenses I couldn't do anything since they hadn't put their claims in writing - most dishonest people know better

I received quotes from ac companies with A or better Revdex.com ratings and angie's list ratings to replace my aging unitThey were not the cheapest of the but their price was quite a bit less than the most expensive quote I got for the same ac unitThey were able to work around my work schedule and do the replacement on the day I requestedThe workers took great care in making sure to keep their work area clean and put down drop cloths to protect my wood floorsI went with the seer lenox and am impressed with how well it cools and relatively low noise levelI will recommend magic touch to anyone in need of replacing their ac unit
