As far as I know, the issues have been resolved1. Leaking exterior faucet: This is a frost free faucet and drains for
seconds when shutoff2. Siding under
fireplace: We never side
under fireplace
chase. It is sealed with plywood and
never gets any weather. We did tell
customer we would install soffit as a curtesy next time we were out that way
This has nothing to do with siding upgrade. The end of May we were working in Amherst and requested
our siding mechanic to install soffit and this is the first I am hearing it was
not completed as expected.
As of today, July 31, I just spoke with
installer.
The installer called the homeowner directly and exchanged
phone numbers with customerArrangements were made between the two. Again, I was under impression it was already
completed 3. Foundation
water proofing contractor inspected their foundation and found no issuesDelta MS was installed on foundation. I have been installing this product for
years and have yet to experience any problems 4. I had no idea
screen was missing-which window is it?
5. Roof boot was
replaced on 9/15/(See Attached Invoice)As far as I know, the last time homeowner called the
office was around 5/22/15. There were no
weekly contacts with the builder

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
I am willing to have the business owner come out to inspect the bathroom and show him a copy of the installation instructions that I already provided to the salesperson However, I will not accept the business response to this complaint until their response includes the offer of a partial refund For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

As stated in my first response, we will be installing the vinyl siding under the fireplace.
There is only a one-year warranty on the exterior faucet; however, we will replace it.
We forwarded your photos to our basement waterproofing contractor and are waiting for his response.
We will contact you upon hearing his reply.
If the vent was for a future bathroom in the basement, most likely the vents are tied in with the other baths.
I would not recommend capping this vent; however, I will if you insist.  Please let me know when I contact you for the other installs.
Again, this is the first I am hearing about a missing screen.  I will gladly order a new one but I need to know which one and the size.

Since the customer is not willing to deal with our salesperson, I would like to visit the site and assess the situation in person.    Also, please send us a copy of the installation instructions for the tub in question.

On Tuesday, 1/19/16, I received an email from the customer in regards to her bathroom issue.  I forwarded the email to the original salesman / project manager, who was familiar with the project.  His instructions were to investigate and resolve the...

situation.  (This is a standard procedure.)
The salesman called me the following  Monday, at 8:00 am to say that he called multiple times and left messages, but they were never returned.   An hour later, I received an email from the customer, stating that she had contacted the Revdex.com.
The customer provided their own tub, against our recommendations.  We directed them to our trusted supplier, with which we have a good working relationship. However, they insisted on purchasing somewhere else.  We warned the customer that the unit they purchased was not a good fit for this particular project.  They insisted that we install it anyways.
I have attached a first hand account from the plumber who installed the tub, and the salesman / project manager.  I believe we have made a good faith effort to be transparent, honest, and work with what we were presented with.

Sincerely,
Thomas P. Schuster
President
Schuster Construction

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  The following statement by the business is 100% inaccurate.  We were never instructed that the tub we picked up was not a good fit for our bathroom.  NOT ONCE.  I am in complete disgust that they would tell these lies.  As I stated in my complaint the business did NOT follow the manufacturer instructions that accompanied the tub.  Their work is the problem.  I can provide these tub installation instructions if necessary.  In addition their response does not address the other aspects of my complaint.

Paul the so-called owner is like working with an 8 year old. You have to continuously call him. Over a 5 months span on an insurance claim I had to contact him 5X because he didn't want to contact me each time having to redo an estimate that was explained explicitly and 5x screwed up

[redacted]Regardless of whether Mr. Schuster agreed to insulating under the fireplace as a "courtesy" or not, the fact remains that we were told on 3 separate occasions that it would be done and as of today's date, it has not been completed (although other houses by this builder DID have their fireplace sealed(sided) underneath and we were told by other homeowners that theirs was done without any additional cost or consideration
The faucet leaks continuously if not shut off at the main valve - (we timed it)
Attached are photos of the leaks in the basement - The house is 3 years old.  We expressed our concerns immediately after noticing them the first year.  Someone did come out to seal a few spots but it continues to leak in random places
The pipe that is leaking begins on the roof and was originally installed for a bathroom fixture we intended on putting in.  Due to the nature of the land itself we were unable to build a shower in the basement.  This pipe should have been sealed at the point of entry on the roof.  Instead it allows rain water to run down onto the basement floor.
Window without screen cost $450.  No screen came with it.
