Dear Ms [redacted] :This letter is in response to your letter dated, September 28th, regarding a statement you receivedfrom a collection agency on behalf of Schuyler County Volunteer Ambulance AssociationYou indicatethat you called the dispatch center and was then connected to the business officeYou indicate mat agentleman at this office took the information to give to the "person who does the billing" and that hestated that "she would not be in until Sunday, September 6lh." Regarding this, there is some confusion onthis end as to whether the individual you were speaking to misunderstoodyour reason as an accounting(payable) issueAll associates of this organization are well aware that Schuyler County VolunteerAmbulance Association, Incdoes not do in house billing - so I am assuming that the misunderstanding iswhy someone would indicate the information would be passed along to myself upon my return onMonday, September 7th.OnceI received your letter, as there is no other documentation of your attempts to contact this agency viavoice message either on our business office machine or through Schuyler County dispatch center, wereviewed our recordsYour letter to the Revdex.com indicates the date of service as October12lh, Schuyler County Volunteer Ambulance Association, Incdoes not have any supportingdocumentation of services rendered to for that dayIf this is in fact that date that you are being billed for,please provide supporting documentation and this agency will bemore than willing to adjust the bill toreflect no services from this agency for that date.I was able to recover your signed Epcr for a specific call on October 17th, Our records indicate thatyou were picked upat your home location of [redacted] and transported to CorningHospital ER for a trauma injuryThe records only reflect one Epcr generated for our services onthat dayfor you;so I am not sure why you would be told by the collection agency that you were billed for (2)twoservices on that day.In your complaint you also state that Schuyler Ambulance waited two years to contact you,and did sothrough a collection agencyPlease be advised thatSchuyler County Volunteer Ambulance Association,Incdoes not do in house billing but rather we have an outside billing serviceIt is through this outsidebilling source that the bill was turned over to a collection agencyAny questions regarding why you werenot billed initially have been referred to them for a responseI ask your patience for a few more days, sotha the billing company can provide a response along with all supporting documentationHowever, ifyou would like to speak to the agency directly, the Company is [redacted] Butler, PA 16003.Their telephone number is ###-###-####.This institution is an equal opportunity provider and employerI regret that your issue was not handled in a moretimely or efficient mannerIt is obviously not a mannerin which Schuyler County Volunteer Ambulance Association, Incnormally conducts businessDuringthe past several years, we have undergone many changes including a change in the outsourcing in billingservices, so we are afraid that issues may have been overlookedYour letter has initiated immediatechange and a more "hands on approach" with our current billing provider to assure that something likethis doesn't happen ever again.Thankyou for your attention and consideration in this matterShouldyou have any further questions,comments or concerns, please do not hesitate

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I still have not received a statement from them nor whether or not they have bill my insurance company, and still have a pending collections agency charges out there with their company as the requestor for payment I NEED a copy of the bill (the last one I received from the collection agency last week had a $charge and a $charge, but no explanation of what the charges are, who is charging what, and whether or not my health insurance has been billed when the incident occurred I do not feel it should be my responsibility to have to keep tracking down who to contact for the bill (currently I am now suppose to contact an agency in Pennsylvania), all the while I have a collection agency after me for the charges also Schuyler Ambulance should be the one providing the answers and sending me the information, also contacting the collection agency and eradicating the collection notice, as I have NOTHING prior about this bill and it is showing up on my credit report as a severe delinquency when it should not be!!
