I am rejecting this response because:
I have never received any reminder in email /phone as stated by Ms.Debra **C*** .If they have called me and left any voice mail I would have a missed call /voice mail alert in my phone.I have asked them to forward me the email , they claimed, they sent as reminderThey could not send that too.If they can send me the evidence of sending reminder in email or phone I will withdraw my complain

[redacted].On November 24th, [redacted] called our office and spoke to me to schedule a new patient appointment with Dr. Dorothy Nicholson.  At that time I informed the patient that our office "requires a credit card number to hold new patient appointments.  We schedule an hour-long consultation with the physician and if you miss the appointment or fail to give one business-day notice to cancel or reschedule the appointment, there is a fee of $150.00".  We do not charge the patient should they have an emergency.  If the patient agrees to those conditions, they provide us with their credit card number and the appointment is scheduled.I am the office manager and have been employed by Drs. Schwartz and Nicholson for nearly 16 years.  This new patient policy has been in effect for several years and has proved very effective in discouraging patients from scheduling consultations and then not showing up or canceling their appointment at the last minute.As a courtesy, we call the patient to remind them of their appointment and they are sent two reminder emails.[redacted] did not call to cancel or reschedule her appointment and she failed to show up for her appointment.  Therefore, the $150.00 fee was charged to the credit card she provided.  It was only after she was charged that she contacted our office.Should you have any questions, please feel free to call me at ###-###-####.Sincerely,Debra *.
