I had an appointment on January 5th at Schwager Dermatology in Toms River with Dr. Hassain Raguala and I am allways so pleased with my session. I am always taken in a timely fashion the staff prior to my seeing the Dr. are always courteous and efficient. During my appointment I get all my questions and concerned resolved. I would also like to comment on two employees, Cashmire Rosado who helps me with my communication with Novartis and responds to my calls and always gets me help immediately. She is a delight to work with. I would also like to comment on Kaitlyn Rastantini who I have worked with in the past and she also is ready and eager to assistant me in all my needs. I am pleased and delighted with Hassain Roguala , Cashmire and Kaitlyn especially but also the way the office is run in these trying times.

My painful and unsightly skin disorder was completely misdiagnosed at Schweiger. Even after seeing four different dermatologists over a nine month period at various Schweiger locations, my condition worsened. All appointments were rushed with little to no concern. Schweiger made thousands off my insurance, but I refuse to pay the co-payments since I was not properly treated. I left after a dermatologist finally admitted he did not know what the condition was and recommended I go somewhere else. Never again!

Review: I went in for a COMPLIMENTARY consultation on 7.** with an esthetician; a simple skin problem was questioned before I could go ahead with any treatments. a dermatologist was called in and I SPECIFICALLY asked him before he went ahead and looked at my face, if I would have to pay for anything - he said NO, just the copay ($25). Consequently, he charged me $250 for the "visit", $225 to look at my face for 1 minute, which is called "acne surgery" on the bill, and $125 for an injection on my upper back, but ON SOMETHING DIFFERENT THEN WHAT I POINTED OUT!.. and $25 for the copay - TTL for that day charged is $625. On 8.* I went in for a "follow-up" appointment - mislead again that this visit wouldn't cost anything, except the co-pay. this time I was charged $175 for the "follow-up" visit, in which he spent a total of maybe 3 minutes (probably less) to tell me everything was ok. Meanwhile I had a minor outbreak near my nose that was NOT fixed with the ointment he prescribed. And there was the co-pay as well - $25. So, a total of $825 for the 2 visits, of which I believe are fraudulent charges made to an unsuspecting victim (i.e. me). I would have NEVER gone ahead with this visit had I known they were going to make these claims to my insurance company and I will find out how to press charges and have them reverse these claims.Desired Settlement: reverse the charges with my insurance company... no payment required by me.

Review: Last year around June, I was scheduled for [redacted] procedure by [redacted] to treat my acne scars. After reviewing their website ([redacted]) where they claim they offer "acne scar removal" treatments, I was hoping to go into the treatments and see some of my scars removed. I notified [redacted], one of the [redacted] who I spoke to about the procedure that I had fraxel treatments before but she told me that their treatments were different. However, not only did I didn't see my "acne scar removal" but instead after the first treatment I was left with significant amounts of discoloration on lower right side of my face. This discoloration was due to the treatment and they offered to fix it by giving me another treatment and a product to fix it, however after more than a year not only did I didn't see any acne scar improvements but instead I'm left with noticeable discoloration from the treatments. Basically I spent $3500 and the end result is my skin looks worse than what it was when I came in with. The worst part is that the discoloration was in an area where I had little or no acne scars and for the most part the skin was good in that region. Also, before the first treatment I was given a [redacted] which according to their website they mention it can result in "divets" but it then states how they only use diluted injections. The injection left me with a scar so after spending all this money there, the treatment has left my skin in a worse situation than before. The clinic has my before and after photos and they can see that as well. I think it's unfair for them to get away with it especially because they make such claims as offering acne scar removal and that makes it seem they actually remove the acne scar which isn't the case. I understand this is a cosmetic procedures and results may vary but first they shouldn't make claims of offering acne scar removals or "treatment plan that gets your skin acne-scar free" and also there should be some improvements unlike my case where all there is worsening of my skin resulting from the treatments especially when your spending thousands of dollars. Not only that but I spent about $100 on their post laser lotion that I couldn't use because it irritated my skin.Desired Settlement: Refund so I can use the money to fix the problems caused by the service provided by the doctor.
