you can see with the attached paper work there is no claims done on this vehicle. We can not guess as to if work has been done on the car or not. The customer checked out the car during his test drive and again at the delivery stage , also he drove the car for 4 months before saying the paint didn't match that is longer then we had the car on our lot. So to say we should have told him , implies that we hid something from him which is totally untrue. When he did come back complaining of the rust spot on the roof we explained that it was 4 months ago and normally we have a 30 day policy that we will split the bill on any issues. But we decided to have the spot repaired at no charge. at this point we have done all we are able to do for [redacted]
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 15, 2017/08/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They are hiding a big portion of the story. The truth is they attempted to repair the rust on the roof then they agreed to attempt to repair a previous body collision on the driver's side quarter panel. I was still not satisfied with the result so I brought it back a third time. After their 3rd attempt at fixing the paint issue, I decided to contact the employee who sold me the car. I never got any response. Then, also sent an email to the manager [redacted]. He also did not respond. The fact that they attempted to fix a pre-existing collision damage places the onus on them to do it right. Please do the right thing [redacted] and do what is right. Fix your mess or damage your dealership's reputation. We are powerful citizens of this community and do not wish to affect your dealership's reputation but if you do not fix your mess, you will leave us with no choice. This vehicle is 2 years old. It should not be rusted and damaged and you know it. Fix it!
