hello,My name is James S [redacted] I manage a scooter rental business called, Scoot Over RuidosoWe rent out 49cc street legal scooters by the hour here in Ruidoso NM I recently received your letter about a complaint against Scoot Over Ruidoso, the ID number is [redacted] Customer is requesting a refund of services, due to various issues they were having with a scooterThe customer came into our office at approx.12:15pm on 8/16/The services purchased was for scooter, for hoursWe set the customer up with a scooter and the customer signed the "motor scooter rental agreement" and he drove off the parking lotthe customer did not return until about 1:40pm and complained about the scooterWe tried to give the customer another scooter so he could continue, but he refused itHe demanded a refund from us, but we have a "no refund for unused time" policywe have signs posted in our office and it is also on the agreement that he signedwhen customer was informed this he became very irate with my employee, he did have possession of the scooter for over an hour before making a complaintto try and ease the situation and our attempt of providing good customer service to the customer, we did give the customer a 10% discount on services, as well as giving a partial refund of $We dont feel that its fair to our business to give a complete refund when the customer did have the scooter for over an hour, and we did try and replace the scooter with anotherWe would be happy to give the customer a credit of free hours rental with us, if he decides to returni will break down all the charges of his rental....Customer Paid with credit cardhour rental rate.........$49.00Damage Waiver.............$5.0010% discount...............-$5.40tax...............................$4.19total paid.......................$52.79refund given..................-$10.00total paid for services......$42.79The scooter the customer rented, is still in use todayand have not had any other complaints on itwe keep our scooters maintained and make sure they are safe to drive on the road, if a customer feels as if his scooter may not be safe, we will most certainly get him anotherwe have already given the customer a $refund, and am willing to give him a hour credit on the next rental, we hope that this may satisfy the customer as we do appreciate the businessif there are anymore questions please feel free to email backthanks, James

Maintenance is calling to get all the issues that need to be repaired We only showed outstanding was a leaking dishwasher Items of concern prior to 9-16-would need to be taken up with the previous company at ###-###-####.Once we get a list of what is outstanding, we will be happy to get them scheduled

HelloMs [redacted] applied for the property on 4/(in the evening, so it was processed on 4/24) an approval was given on 4/and Ms [redacted] paid the reservation deposit on 5/1/which will hold the unit for a move in within days The municipality where this unit is located requires inspections Once the unit was completed, the inspection was scheduled and the municipality scheduled it for 5/16, which it failed inspection The failed inspection report was received in our office on 5/at 3:48pm The failed items have been scheduled for repair on 5/ A voicemail has been left with the municipality to schedule the reinspection They only perform inspections on Monday's and Wednesday's and they only issue occupancy permits on Fridays Unfortunately, the scheduling of the inspections and when occupancy permits can be scheduled is out of our control That is scheduled through the municipality for this address At this point, Ms [redacted] is still in the day time frame of the move in requirement We will even work with the future tenant of the properties if the move in date goes further than the day requirement if the move in is delayed due to the inspection Thank you

As stated in the customer comments we do not do the maintenance on this property and the work was reported to the owner's maintenance person the day it was reported to us. Once we found out today that it had not been completed, we immediately contacted the owner and he will insure it is
handled

CJ Real Estate Inc has reviewed this complaint. I have researched the issue regarding the carpet cleaning and there was a mistake. I will be cutting a check to Mrand Mrs*** today for $and mailing it to their forwarding address. Regarding the paint. This is
stated in the lease agreement under Security Damage Deposit. The painting that was done after the move out was $billed to the owner. We do take wear and tear into consideration and that is why the residents were only charged $of the $billed to the owner. This charge will remain and will not be able to be refunded. This was refunded today.  Our policy is to wait 2 to 3 weeks from the initial payment to ensure the payment will not result in an NSF or be rejected for some reason

The owner of the property agreed to refund $300 on July 13 and that was sent out in the mail.

inspections.  Once the unit was completed, the inspection was scheduled and the municipality scheduled it for 5/16, which it failed inspection.  The failed inspection report was received in our office on 5/24 at 3:48pm.  The failed items have been scheduled for repair on 5/29.  A voicemail has been left with the municipality to schedule the reinspection.  They only perform inspections on Monday's and Wednesday's and they only issue occupancy permits on Fridays.  Unfortunately, the scheduling of the inspections and when occupancy permits can be scheduled is out of our control.  That is scheduled through the municipality for this address.  At this point, Ms. [redacted] is still in the 30 day time frame of the move in requirement.  We will even work with the future tenant of the properties if the move in date goes further than the 30 day requirement if the move in is delayed due to the inspection.  Thank you
