I am rejecting this response because:
The issue of the noise and vibration coming from the rear of the scooter is still unresolved and unidentified by Scooters PlusFurther more the scooter was not taken for a test drive by any employee at Scooters PlusA photo was taken of the odometer upon dropping off the scooter with a mileage reading of 990.3/When I arrived at Scooters Plus I noticed the odometer reading was exactly the sameThere was no additional mileage which contradicts *** *** statement that he and his mechanic both test drove the scooterI took the scooter for a test drive myself on a roughly half mile drive and determined the noise had not been remedied or the vibration coming from the rear of the scooterUpon arriving back to Scooters Plus from the test drive I informed *** *** that the scooter was still in fact making the same noise and vibration*** *** became extremely agitated and disrespectful towards meI made very clear that at speeds of 35mph and higher is when the noise and vibration are really noticeableAt that point *** *** proceeded to take the scooter on a test drive down the sidewalk of the Boston Post roadWhen *** *** returned he claimed that he obtained a speed of mph and that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the scooterThe problem is that at speeds of 30mph and under the scooter is fairly quietI reminded *** *** again that he wouldn't have encountered the noise or vibration unless he reached a higher speed.
My second concern is initially *** *** acknowledged there was a noise coming from the "clutch area"When *** *** informed me that they had changed the gear oil I questioned the reasoning behind itI was told that the factory gear oil has a different viscosity and that is why it was changedHowever I reminded *** *** that they had just changed the gear oil on June as part of regular maintenance to maintain the warrantyOn that same date I informed *** *** of the noise coming from the rear of the scooterI was assured that it would be looked at and not to worryWhen I arrived to pick up the scooter from Scooters Plus on June I was told the noise is " normal"Since that date the noise has become worse and is now accompanied by a vibrationAt this current point in time *** *** claims the scooter has no problems at allThis statement contradicts the fact that on June the scooter did in fact have a noise that he deemed "normal".
In conclusion my goal is to have Scooters Plus correctly identify the trouble areas I stated aboveI would also like for Scooters Plus to duplicate the conditions that cause the scooter to perform poorlyMy only intention is for my scooter to be properly serviced in an honest manorThe manufacturer warranty covers factory defects for up to monthsMy scooter is well with in that time frame*** *** is misguided to believe there to be any militious intent based upon my determination to have this problem resolvedI have given Scooters Plus the opportunity to solve this problemUnfortunately I Now have to seek out consumer protection services to assist in this simple matterIf in fact Scooters Plus will honor their word and product then I will be thoroughly satisfied.

In response to *** *** complaint of issues with his scooter, we have checked the scooter on 7-24-as requested and can not find any issues out of the normThe scooters drive case was removed and the internal clutch and variator show no signs of abnormality** *** complained that the
rear wheel has too much play or more correctly stated, back lash in the gears and he was shown an a comparable scooter that the backlash was the same as on his scooterIn an effort to help satisfy ** ***, the gear oil was changed, at no charge, and both myself and my technician of more than years test drove the scooter and we could not hear any noiseI even test drove the scooter when ** *** came to pick the scooter up on &-24-and the scooter was flawless** *** was accompanied by his co worker who claims to be a mechanic, and when asket to test drive the scooter for his opinion, he refused, probably because he knew there was no noise
In addition, ** *** advised that he had been recording everything, with out my knowledge or permission which leade me to believe he is in the process of setting Scooters Plus up for something
I am making this clear, I refuse to deal with ** *** until he understands that there is nothing wrong with his scooter. If he continues to make an issue of this situation or if he uses the so called recording, I will file legal action
In response to *** *** complaint about my attitude, No matter what I said or did ** *** refused to accept our findings and continued to make an issue over the so called noiseAfter several attempts to get thru to ** *** I simply had enough and told him to get out of my store
Scooters plus strives to sell and service scooters with the utmost concern for our customersWe have been doing business for nearly years and know then there is an issue and when there is notThere are times when customers refuse to understand or accept our findings and seek to place harm as a result

I am rejecting this response because:
     It has been made clear to me that Scooters plus has made up their mind even prior to the last service appointment that they will do nothing to diagnose and remedy the noise and vibration that still exists. [redacted] has shown me what can be expected from him as well as his business. There is no attempt made on Scooters Plus behalf to re inspect the scooter to ensure they did not overlook this problem. The evidence will show that there indeed is a problem with the scooter. I still hold open the opportunity for [redacted] and Scooters Plus to make this right and to solve this at the lowest level possible. I sincerely hope [redacted] reconsiders his position.

Continued harassment from [redacted].
If [redacted] does not wish to accept our professional diagnosis and decision, that appears to be his problem. If he continues to question my integrity and professionalism and the way I treat my customers by bad mouthing my business, my attorney will be more than happy to quiet him down. I refuse to deal with this person as he obviously has trust issues and does not want to any answer other than what he feels is correct. What he is asking for is uncalled for and is not part of any warranty.
For nearly 8 years no one has questioned our professionalism or integrity. End of story.

Review: I recently purchased a brand new [redacted] from Scooters Plus in Milford, Ct. My scooter began to develop a noise coming from the drive train about 3-4 weeks after purchasing it. I brought the scooter in for regular maintenance and for maintaining the warranty on June 20 2014. I made the owner of the dealer aware of the mechanical issues the scooter was having. I was told upon picking up the scooter from being serviced that "sometimes a noise that sounds foreign to us is normal for the scooter." I scheduled a second service appointment for July 24th 2014 reguarding the same noise coming from the drive train that has become worse along with a vibration. I explained in person thoroughly to the owner of scooters plus the problems that the scooter was having. The owner acknowledged he heard a sound that he claimed sounded to be coming from the clutch area. The same day I received a phone call that my scooter was ready to pick up. The owner of scooters plus informed me that they changed the gear oil in the scooter. The owner also informed me that you can still hear the noise but its a different noise from before they changed the gear oil. I test drove the scooter and quickly realized that the problem had not been remedied and now there was a new noise involved as well. I tried to inform the owner of scooters plus but he became very aggressive and angry. The owner of scooters plus told me directly that I don't know what I am talking about and there is nothing wrong with my scooter. The owner went on to curse at me, tell me I am a horrible customer, slam the shop door so hard the "open" sign fell, to take my scooter somewhere else, and ultimately to get the F out of his store. The owner did not give me a work order or any other paperwork for the service appointment. I was forced to drive the scooter home with the same issues that I brought it in for.Desired Settlement: I would like to see Scooters Plus identify correctly the issues that my scooter is having. I would like to see Scooters Plus effectively repair the problems involved. The scooter is under a manufacturer's warranty for 12 months. Any parts or factory related defects are covered under this warranty. I would also like for Scooters plus to treat all customers with respect and honesty.
