[redacted] from Scootworks in your area needs to be addressed as he is getting away taking an order for a drive sprocket and belt, charging my card and not shipping the product! I made my order on December 19, 2015 and as of today April 13, 2016 has not shipped my order and will not refund my money. He continues to promise to ship my order using every excuse from his heart problem to his father being sick in the hospital! I have sent him over 30 e-mails some he answers some he doesn't. I never dealt with anyone who uses so many excuses including it is USPS's at fault they lost the order to his computer service technician is the problem. His web site is full of misleading information and he blames this on the company he hired to operate it. Is this company in your area a total fraud? I tried to play his game and tried to be kind and understanding, however this did not help to resolve anything.

Thank You

Same issues as the other reviews... This company is out of business... Theives. I will be contacting Paypal to have their account shut down

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
They are thieves. Like everyone else, I have been scammed by Scootworks, Inc. I ordered $150.98 worth of merchandise from them and it was never delivered. I continued to attempt to make contact to no avail. I was told a refund was issued but never received my money. I have filed a complaint with the Revdex.com and if it cannot be resolved through them I will be taking them to small claims court.

I ordered a belt drive from scoot works paid with a [redacted] April 9 th it is now May the 13 th and this business has not sent my belt. I've sent email after email and called repeatedly and have talked to a [redacted] and he keeps giving excuses after excuses why they haven't sent it and I'm very tired of there lies and poor business practices .... all I want is the belt I ordered ....or my money back !!!!!Product_Or_Service: belt drive for Kawasaki Vulcan 800Order_Number: ?Account_Number: ?Desired SettlementI want my belt or a refund !!!!More info received from the consumer 2014-05-22I just received the belt that I ordered from scoot works please CANCEL complaint ...best regards [redacted]

I have been asking for a refund on a product I ordered but did not receive. I have asked for my refund over and over for 4 weeks.I called scootworks approximately during the 3rd week of sept. I ordered an air cleaner that cost $311.64. I was told by an employee named [redacted] that I would receive the cleaner by the end of the week. After 2 weeks went by I stated I wanted a refund because I never received the cleaner. I also stated I ordered one from another company and needed my refund to cover the cost. I received an email stating a refund was issued but it never was. Scootworks sent the cleaner to me 10/29/13 after I told them I no longer wanted the cleaner and needed a refund. Scootworks will not respond to my fax, email, or phone messages. Now I have a cleaner I can't use, don't want on an order I cancelled weeks ago. I need my refund that was told I was getting. Scootworks never intended on giving me my money. No one from scootworks ever called or emailed me stating there was a delay in shipping, no one apologized, no one has called, or refunded my money.I have emails to support everything I have described. Please help me get my money. I paid by debit card. My order # is XXXXXXXXXX.[redacted]. My card was charged on 9/27/13. Here is each email between scootworks and I. 10/04/13 To: [redacted]@scootworks.com[redacted], I placed an order a week ago and haven't received my items. To: [redacted].comSubject: Re: orderDate: Tue, 8 Oct 2013 13:05:46 -0400Hi [redacted],I checked on this in detail and found that the intake system is being shipped under separate cover. One of the guys in the shop is kitting the hardware, there were some bits that we needed (jets and such) that had not come in by the time the other was ready to ship. This should be ready to go out in about 1 day. Lert me know if I can be of any other assistance! To: [redacted]@Scootworks.com Sent: Thursday, October 10, 2013 2:47 PMSubject: RE: orderI still haven't received my other item I ordered. See for yourself. http://www.[redacted].com/category_s/XXXXXX.htm It has been 3 weeks and still no air cleaner. Send me an email when you have refunded my money so I can verify with my bank so I can order my air cleaner from [redacted]From:[redacted]@scootworks.comTo:[redacted].comSubject: Re: orderDate: Thu, 17 Oct 2013 13:12:11 -0400Hi [redacted],I've just got back from a post op checkup. Have had surgery, etc over the last few days. I will get a refund issued right now, and make sure shipping figures out what's going on with this part of the order. If it arrives on your end from us, please let me know and I'll get a return label sent over to you.To: [redacted]@Scootworks.com. What did you find out about my refund? My bank still has no record of refund.[redacted] From: [redacted]@scootworks.com. I'll ring up the processor and run a check on it. It was withdrawn from our acct next day. Sincerely, Scootworks To: [redacted]@scootworks.com. [redacted], I'm not sure who owns scootworks so I need the owners full name I need this info. today to submit to my attorney.Desired SettlementI want a refund of $311.64. This is the amount I paid to scootworks. I would like a phone call from [redacted] at scootworks telling me when the refund is issued and an email for my records.Business Response Scootworks did not send an Air Cleaner to Mr [redacted]. He cancelled that order with us before it was shipped. We discovered this week, while trying to rectify this situation, that the mfg accidentally drop shipped an air cleaner to him. We had been in touch with the mfg previously about his order, while trying to get it shipped, and they somehow misunderstood and shipped it. We spoke with the mfg yesterday, and they said that Mr.[redacted] had refused the cleaner and it was in route back to the mfg. A refund was issued to Mr. [redacted] yesterday, and a copy of the transaction report was sent to him.Final Consumer Response I didn't know I canceled the order before it was shipped. That tells me a few things: 1. I was told I would get the item in 3-4 days, when I canceled the item it had been. 10-14 days.So Scootworks new they couldn't get me the item when they said they could.(READ THE EMAIL for PROOF). 2. Scootworks makes it sound like I canceled the item soon after I ordered it, if that's the case then WHERE IS MY REFUND? I placed the order 4 weeks ago.3. If they had been in touch with the company that was shipping the product then why didn't they let me know what was going on?4. I refused the air cleaner because I canceled the order and place another order with a different company.5. Scootworks told me 2 weeks ago they had issued a refund and I still haven't seen it so their sending me an email showing they did means nothing. When I see my money then I'll believe it. I don't want to involve an attorney but I spoke to [redacted] again yesterday and if I don't receive my money by Tue. I will sue scootworks for the amount of my refund, legal fees, etc. I have never had such a bad experience with a company in my life. When this transaction started going downhill I didn't get an apology or phone call- just empty emails. Scootworks is slow and negligent at best and I am looking forward to resolving this issue and getting my money. [redacted] could have at least called me since he was my point of contact when this first started. [redacted] seemed helpful when I spoke to him in SEPTEMBER. Business Response Our records indicate that this customer was refunded for the part of his order that was cancelled. Please indicate if this is not so. Case Closed SATISFIED 2013-12-06My bank issued a refund not scoot works. My bank sent a letter letting me know they reviewed my case and that they were collecting my refund. Scootworks DID NOT refund my money.[redacted]

I purchased the belt-drive system for my [redacted] and an extra belt. I have had two belt failures in 20K miles. Far less than originally stated belt-lifeI had bought the Skootworks beltdrive conversion kit for my brand new [redacted]. It arrived and was in stalled by the [redacted] Dealership service center where I purchased the motorcycle. all Skootworks instructions were followed, and belt tension was check as per instruction with myself seated on the bike. Since installing I have had two failures in 20,000 miles. Belt tension has been maintained as per Skootworks instructions. I called before and was only able to leave a message requesting someone contact me. A had not received a call back, and once again called today, left a message, and continued to call until a representative answered. I explained the two failures, and was given a long speech about how it was all due to incorrect belt tension, that 'technology was not advanced enough yet, when the belt drive system they built from he said around [redacted] to [redacted] when I purchased it. I asked about the fact they have since ELIMINATED my model of drive and replaced it with a HEAVIER "[redacted]" system, with far more robust belt. I was asked to take pictures of the belt so he could "research" if it was a "Surplus" low-quality belt clearly has Skootworks names and identification on it.. I was told I would be called back when he received the pictures, but has not called back. I fell I was mislead completely in Skootworks advertised information in [redacted], I had called and talked to a number of representatives from Skootworks, prior to ordering concerned of the "Small teeth", and was ASSURES that the belt was "Bulletproof", "kevlar infused".... on and on...Desired SettlementI do not expect replacement of the entire belt-drive system with the newer "technology" "[redacted]-Drive", unless deemed necessary by Skootworks, in resolving this issue. I was told that the belt used for this era belt-drive was going through changes, and several manufactures/vendors were being used, and he needed pics to identify this belt, I sent to him the pictures of the 2nd failed belt (currently on the motorcycle), but have long since discarded the first failed belt about 12,000 miles, and about five years ago. I am disabled and the bike rarely gets driven, it has always been stored indoors, in a climate controlled environment, and still sits useless in my living room today, due to the second failed belt. I would ask for replacements of the two failed belts (with whatever "newest belts" that will work on my belt-drive,(And perform as promoted and promised by the the Skootworks staff in [redacted]),and a replacement belt tension gauge (according to the representatives "over the phone diagnosis", of my two failures as being "Tension Related')the gauge originally supplied would have had to be inaccurate in it's measurements/readings, as the Skootworks instructions were followed and tension adjusted and later checked as instructed. Business Response parts out of warranty by 7 years

Scootworks will not issue me the refund the owe me after repeated requests by me to do so.I have spent almost two months asking this company to refund my money after I purchased a product from them and they did not deliver it for over 3 months. I have received a myriad of excuses and, more often than not, a total lack of communication. They do not answer emails, and they do not answer their phone. I honestly dont know how they stay in business with customer services like these. When you say you are going to do something and you dont do it, and then say again that you will do it and again dont do it, you are a liar. [redacted] from scootworks is a liar. There is no other word for it. He is either lazy and incompetent, in which case there is no malicious intent behind not giving me my refund, or he is a thief. When you take money, and you fail to deliver product, and then you refuse to refund the money given, you are a thief. [redacted] is a thief. I have no reason to believe otherwise. He refuses to refund my money and is not at all concerned that there is a very unhappy and vocal customer and an outstanding customer service issue that needs attention. He avoids attempts at communication and I have lost all faith that he is willing to refund my money.Desired SettlementI want my money refunded via [redacted] as I have discussed with him repeatedly.Business Response We apologize for the delay in this refund. It is being taken care of now. Due to the length of time since the purchase, we can not refund via [redacted]. A refund will be mailed to this customer's home address listed on the order. Our apologies for this delay. Consumer Response I will be awaiting scootworks' mailed refund. I will update the Revdex.com as to the status of this refund.More info received from the consumer 2013-12-17I continue to await my refund from scootworks. They have done nothing but drag their feet and give me excuses. They said they will be mailing me my refund since they cannot process it via [redacted]. I will be happy to update the Revdex.com if this occurs but the phrase "the check is in the mail" typically means that you'll never see the money. Buyer beware. - Received Final Response from Business 2013-12-19The shop is closed for a few days. I am having surgery again today, and will be recovering over the next few days. I will address this situation when the shop reopens.2014-07-08 Scootworks took my money after I ordered parts from them over a year ago. They have not delivered the parts I ordered, and are ignoring my calls.Just to be fair, I have filed multiple complaints against Scootworks, and its owner, [redacted]. I am incredulous at their total disregard for customer service and the fact that they just ignore my calls and emails for months on end. There is no justifying this behavior in a business.I ordered a belt drive kit for my triumph motorcycle over a year ago ( june 2013) After waiting and waiting, I gave up and requested a refund. Then I waited and waited and waited. During this time, communication was poor, and was full of excuses and delays and promises to "look into it" or to "get right on it". These were lies.Scootworks will take your money but have no interest in talking to you. If they have your part, they may just mail it and youd be done, but if they dont, heaven help you. they will [redacted] you around and lie to you and avoid you. they dont respond to my complaints and they dont answer my emails or calls because they know they have no excuse for this kind of behavior. By this past winter, I had neither my parts nor my money and I was low on ideas. I kept on them and finally got word that they would send me the parts, but not the money. I decided to take what I could get.I got a partial kit, missing key parts. That was in may. I got one email in may giving me attitude and telling me the remainder of my parts would ship in about a week. Again, that was 2 months ago. Not a peep from them since. No emails, never once have they answered their phone. I know their hold music all too well. It drives me crazy. These people are criminals. Avoid scootworks as intently as they are AVOIDING ME and you'll be a happy motorcyclist. I look forward to getting down to NC for a surprise visit, and meeting these criminals face to face. Lets see what excuse they have when Im standing in their parking lot. I bet they'll get in their cars and leave or lock their doors. Cowards. Consumer's Desired Resolution:I want the parts that are owed to me, namely a drive belt and belt tensioner tool. And an apology for wasting my time. I will never get any of those. I'd settle for scootworks going out of business.
