Not taking responsibility for damaging my garage door opener
A smart meter was installed on my home on 11/10/I was NEVER notified that someone would be coming to my home replacing my current meterMy husband just happened to be home when the power went outHe walked outside to see what was going on and saw contractor *** *** on our premisesThe guy informed him that he had installed a smart meter on our homeWhen the power came back on my husband noticed the garage door would not open He IMMEDIATELY notified Mr***Mr*** stated that we would need to contact *** ***, our power companyMy husband asked for Mr*** name Mr*** showed him his badge and my husband took a picture of it My husband then contacted *** *** They recorded the information and had someone call us backThe man on the phone began to walk my husband on reseting the breaker and the GFCINone of these steps workedOur garage door still would not open After a few unsuccess

Scope was employed by *** *** to replace meters In doing so, I had a power surge at my home that damaged many itemsnot resolved satisfactorily
Scope was out to replace meters as hired by *** *** They sent a letter saying they would be out within a two week time frame, but did not specify date Ironically, I had a certified electrician in my home giving me an estimate for renovation work at the time the meter was replaced Power was knocked out and a power surge occurred when it was turned back on causing damage to GFI plugs, my convection double oven etcOne side of the house was affected I had to replace my double oven and reinstall GFI plugs as they were 'fried' by the damage Electrician willing to certify my claims Scope has offered $in repair costs which is not adequate for removal/installation of double oven, gfi's and replacement cost of oven I have repeatedly been actively involvd in attempting to get documentation from Scope as I am willing to go to
