We filed a warranty claim because our siding was peeling, flaking and discoloring within years I did all the necessary steps and they agree the siding needs to be replaced They offered us $plus the replacement siding The $is to cover removal of old siding, disposal and installation of new siding I got a bid from our local siding company to do the work and it will be over 5,dollars I sent all this to KP Building Products and they state that in their warranty payment is based on "the sole discretion of [redacted] and will be paid at rates established by ***" I understand all of that, however what good is this warranty to me if they; will only pay dollars That is a slap in the face to us and our local contractors The stated it was based on claims and research paid out in our area, I do not believe that for a minute Show me the data We purchased the siding at [redacted] and if we had known this was how the warranty worked we would not have purchased this sid

I purchased a new home in 2011 in [redacted] , NY, that was built by [redacted] and, its siding was manufactured by KP Building products. Only after 5 years, the new home’s siding started to melt. I called [redacted] that basically said it is not their responsibility and told us to contact the KP builders. So I checked KP builder’s online warranty information -which states: all KP® products are backed with a lifetime limited warranty. According to the warranty up to 5 years is 100% replacement. I am in that time frame. So I called KP builders, and I was told specifically to send them pictures of all the siding of home with 3 feet long melted siding piece and mail to them in Vermont. I immediately called siding specialist who helped me take out the piece and pictures of the siding and mailed them by ***, which costed me $65 to mail. After three weeks I received a letter from KP builders, saying” these vinyl distortions are from excessive heat” and distortion from excessive heat or from re

I purchased vinyl siding manufactured by KP Building Products from *** in Hollister MissouriThe siding was installed on three sides of my home during July and the fourth side of my home in SeptemberThe siding was installed by two different contractors at two different timesAfter a few weeks of installation the siding began to warp and waveIt is also discolored with splotches all overThe splotches are on every piece of sidingI contacted *** who gave me a complaint form to file with KP Building ProductsI filled this out and they contacted me for picturesI sent pictures and they said they could not make a determination so requested a ft piece of siding be mailed to themI provided this and then they still could not make a determination so sent out a representative from their company to view the sidingThe representative said to my face he agreed that the splotches were a manufacturing problemOne week later I received a letter via email from KP Building Produ

KP building product makes the claims process very complicated to make it impossible for me to claim the damage on my siding during the warrantyThey asked me to mail a sample "from actual building" minimum feet long with panel lock showing the problemDo not cut or bend the sampleI really can't take the piece out myselfAnd it will cause leaking if I do take the piece outSo I have to hire someone professional to do it and also cove my siding to avoid leakAnd late on if they don't approve my claim I need to ask some professional to reinstall that piece again That will cost me $(taking the piece out and put it back) to just prepare the claim The difficulty they put on the claim process does seem to prevent anyone from claiming any repairsWhy can I just send pics and they can send someone to take a look at the damageWhy can't they make it easy?

KP Building Products has agreed to replace the material/siding on the south side of my story home because their product (vinyl siding) faded significantly
They are only willing to pay $in labor costs to tear off the old siding and put the new siding on The price I received from the original installer is $ Other contractors have laughed at me when I told them I only have $to pay for their labor
I have been in contact with *** *** in the claim dept at KP Building products (***.) Her response was " The labor allowance is at the sole discretion of KP Building Products The offer provided is in accordance with our written warranty and will remain as is."
So I am stuck with siding that no one will put on because they are not giving me a fair labor cost to cover the full installation
