Revdex.com Response January 20, 2017   Dear Mr. [redacted]: In response to the concern you expressed to the Revdex.com, I would like to offer my sincerest apology for any dissatisfaction you have experienced while utilizing Automotive Finance Corporation’s (“AFC”) services....

For 30 years, AFC has prided itself on helping independent automotive dealers grow their business by providing inventory financing solutions and related business services. Our core product is automotive floorplanning where AFC underwrites a dealer and approves a line of credit for their use in purchasing inventory. We are very appreciative that you chose to do business with AFC, but unfortunately your account (line of credit) went into dormant status because of inactivity since August, 2014. It is AFC’s standard policy to close inactive accounts, as it adds an unnecessary costs and administrative burdens to keep accounts open when not being used for long periods of time.  Further, as stated in your contract, AFC is an at will lender. A new application must be submitted if you are interested in maintaining an account with AFC. You may apply online at www.AFCDealer.com or we can process a paper application at AFC’s branch in Fairburn which, if your application is approved, would be your servicing branch.   Approval of your application will be subject to AFC’s standard credit underwriting procedures.  Thank you for your past use of AFC’s services. Going forward, I hope that we can find an amicable solution to your needs. Please feel free to reach out to me at your convenience at317-843-3169 or devra.c[redacted]@autofinance.com. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I reapplied for credit as requested by the Corporate Office. I received a phone call this morning from Corporate, stating I already have an account. The Corporate Office stated in order to proceed with my application, I need to submit a letter to the Atlanta Branch requesting to close my account and then they will look into reopening an account which makes absolutely no sense. My response to her was I am not voluntarily closing my account. I did exactly what was asked of me based on the response Corporate gave the Revdex.com. Like I stated earlier in my initial complaint, this Company is causing me to lose sales because of a Branch Manager's decision not to allow me to floor. I read something in their response stating AFC is an at will dealer and I am assuming they mean deny or approve accounts at will and it sounds like without reason. Well I believe  this violates state law, but that's a Question for the Attorney General's Office in which I intend to contact, Indiana and Georgia.         Regards,
