Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/12/29) */ The patient was visited with by staff on 12/23/and informed a Supervisor would reach out to her Supervisor contacted the patient on 12/24/but there was no answer In the meantime, the complaint was received After discussions with the physician office, the charge was entered in error The physician did assist the other physician during this procedure but that is not unexpected and there is normally not a charge In this instance as charge was inadvertently entered, rather than posting the charge for tracking purposes with a zero charge amount The insurance is being notified of the error and the patient's prepayment will be transferred to any outstanding balances and the remainder refunded The patient has been made aware of this information and is satisfied

Upon original receipt of the complaint and patient information not being included on the complaint, I called MrNewsome and determined his wife's information.? My leadership team reviewed the account and contacted [redacted] ? on? April 16, 2018.? MrNewsome had a legitimate customer service concern that we have addressed with the employee.? At [redacted] request, his wife was also contacted and the situation explained.? She was very thankful.? A refund of $was issued to the patient on 04/20/18.If you need any further information, please contact me

The customer returned our phone call and a meeting was scheduled the next day March **, 2017 at the customers home. Caulk repairs were completed to prevent water infiltration. We have had heavy rains since the repairs were made and have not heard any problems from the customer. Should any concerns arise in the future, the best course of action would be for the customer to call the office ###-###-#### directly where a work order would be created and all concerns would be documented by our receptionist.
