have been in business years and pride ourselves in taking care of you the customerOur communication breakdown began with the 1st crew at your home to do the tear off of the existing guttersThey should have contacted your salesperson *** *** immediately to get you a price quoted for the boards that needed to be replacedThat did not happen, the crew called their supervisor who wanted to get the problem taken care of ASAP for you so he instructed the crew to tell you there would be an extra charge and to replace the boardsThe work should have NEVER been completed without you knowing what the cost would be up frontThat is not our policyThe crew that went to your home for the 2nd trip took an extremely long time to install the gutter board and remove and reintstall the soffitThe labor this trip was excessiveWhy they did not install the gutter I don't know but they should have, which then caused a 3rd trip to return to install the 55' of gutterAt this point the salesman was still not made aware of the issueOnce the job was completed he was given the ticket to price outHe priced according to the labor it took to do the jobAgain, not the proper procedureThe board should have been quoted to you no more than $per foot along with the fascia cover @ $per footYour additinoal cost should have been no more than $I apologize for the several breaks in communication with youOne of the owners of the company did try to contact you 12/at 2:PM to discussHe left a detailed message that he would like to clear things up with you & asked for you to call him on his cellHe also left a message on 12/23/on your cellI did receive your check for payment of the orginal quote of $I will process your invoice and mail you a paid receiptThere will NOT be an additional charge for any of the additional work completed on your homeWe take full responsibility for the errors on our part and hope this will assure you this is not acceptable as a way for our company to do businessI hope you will accept my apology on behalf of Scott-Lee GutteringThank you for your business it is appreciated!

I have a supervisor going by the home today (Friday 8/4 to see if he can fix, Unfortunatley I don't know if he will have the correct color downspout on his truck) so he may have to return on Monday to complete.  This repair will be properly repaired no later than Monday 8/7.  I apologize...

for the lack of communication on this matter.  This is not how we at Scott Lee Guttering conduct business and quite frankly I'm embarrased by this.  We pride ourselves to provide excellent customer service and this does not reflect our normal business operations.  Again, I apologize and will get this matter taken care of promptly.  Thank you!
