More delaying.  He doesn't have to call me 10 or 20 times a day.  For what?  He should have had the prospective employee call for an interview but since he doesn't seem to have any, this is besides the point.  Enough of this.  I would like my money back. No matter what he says, he has not done what was promised to be done quickly - not over a period of months.

Review: contact this medical recruitment services looking for a part time physician's assistant (PA). recruiter sent us over 30 resume's who were "available for work". Told us that we should quickly sent him a deposit of $5000.00 because we might miss a good employee (they might take another job). after sening him the deposit he continued to send re3sumes and said he was contacting these people personally and they would contact us. after one month no one contacted us and there were no interviews. he insisted he was "working on it" and then we stopped hearing from him.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND THIS COMPLAINT TO THE AD**ESS YOU HAVE LISTED (FOREST HILLS) BECAUSE ON YOUR OWN WEBSITE THERE IS AN ALERT WHICH STATES THAT MAIL SENT TO THAT AD**ESS WAS RETURNED AS UNDELIVERABLE.Desired Settlement: REFUND

Review: I own an intensive neurological therapy for children with cerebral palsy and was unfortunately backed into a corner where I needed at PT fast. I contacted multiple recruiters before being contacted Scott Mars LLC, who offered their recruiting services for a full time PT for one year. During that year if they were to quit or not work out on our end, Scott Marks LLC would continue to fill the position.

Scott provided us with 10 references which most of were positive. The rest had nothing bad to say, but they also provided us with other agencies which they now use. We decided to go with Scott Marks and paid a finders fee of $2000 upfront, and agreed to pay an additional $3000 once the position was filled. The first few days we received 5-10 resumes which a couple of we had already spoken with. Seven or so of the 10 were located 2 hours plus outside of Los Angeles which we brought to [redacted]'s attention. We were told they were willing to either relocate or commute to our clinic so we went ahead and scheduled an interview with the only candidate who fit our needs. The day of the interview we contacted the candidate who told us they would not be coming because they didn't realize how far our clinic was from San Diego. We expressed our concern to [redacted] and we reassured they had many other candidates and were confident they would be able to get us somebody hired in time.

After this all communication fell off. We were unable to get ahold of [redacted], or anybody else with Scott Marks via phone or e-mail. After a few weeks we realized we had most likely been scammed by Scott Marks, LLC who is based across the country from our clinic.

Periodically I would give them a call to see if they would pick up and a few months later they did. [redacted] claimed he had been sending me e-mails with resumes and they must not have been getting through. I asked why he hadn't returned any calls or e-mails and he said he hadn't gotten any calls or e-mails from you. Of course I didn't believe anything he was saying, but I thought I would be nice because we had 6-7 months left on our contract and could use a part time therapist at that point. [redacted] said he would forward me alllll the resumes he has been sending as soon as we got off the phone and apologized for the inconvenience.

After this we were unable to reach anybody with Scott Marks LLC again.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the $2000.00 we had paid upfront to start the "recruiting process". I have our original contract which was clearly broken by Scott Marks LLC.

Response:

[redacted] who is the owner of the intensive neurological practice in CA had hired our company to search for a physical therapist on a RETAINED basis. We sent [redacted] over 30 candidates, half of which had expressed that they wanted to work with his and his mother’s clinic. There were 3 candidates that said they would consider working with his office if they were compensated for relocation expenses. Due to the difficulty of placement, [redacted] had agreed to this as long as it was in reason. Once we mentioned that to our candidates, they were excited and decided to commute to interview with him. He then informed the candidates that he was not going to pay for traveling costs. That made our company appear to be unprofessional. After a week or 2, [redacted] and [redacted] called our office repeatedly asking for more candidates or a refund. We mentioned to them that have successfully located the therapists for you as they WANTED THE POSITION. However, because they were lied to, they decided to change their minds.

Business

Response:

To start with I would like to say that [redacted] and [redacted] hired our company as a RETAINED search firm. A RETAINED search firm is hired to search for available candidates in effort to place with the client. A RETAINED search firm is paid whether they place the candidate or NOT. Once we received the agreement, we began sending over candidates to their organization. The candidates that were sent were promised travel expense costs, higher rate of pay per hour, and benefits. [redacted] had not kept his word and lied about such. This put off our candidates, which are extremely difficult to find as is. Many candidates that were sent were in fact 2+ hours away from the clinic, however, they were willing to make the commute for the right cost which [redacted] had noted he will accomodate [redacted] then notes that we have other negative reviews on Revdex.com and online search engines. What he fails to point is all of our POSTIVE reports of clients who have been EXTREMELY satisfied with our service. Which I will be more than happy to supply a list of EXTREMELY satisfied customers all across the US. You may ask [redacted] to research what a RETAINED search firm is and to read the contract in its entirety to understand the terms accurately. [redacted] then states that our company must be stopped, this is defamation of character which I plan on filing a suit for this.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Review: We pay an initial fee to [redacted] the president of [redacted] Recruitment LLC to find us a Physician Assistant.

As soon as we paid [redacted] the fee for his services he has disappears from the earth, no one can contact him to the following ph # ###-###-#### or cell ###-###-####.

I called the cell # and I told him that he needs to contact us today or I will be going to small claims department to collect my funds back.Desired Settlement: For Scott Marks Recruitment LLC to return the original fee for not be able to provide the services we paid for.

Response:

[redacted] had hired our company on RETAINER to search for a family MD. As soon as we received our executed/signed agreement and retainer, we sent over candidates to his practice. He decided not to interview them because he did “not have time and have to treat patients.” I mentioned to him we were working 24/7 in order to perform. [redacted] is a standard example of a client that does not want to pay for services. Im asking that this review be removed immediately.
