My red flag was when he became offended by second opinions. A provider that will not consider second opinions at all is not a provider for me.

Staff is great cleanings are always done with care and precision.

First visit and greeted warming by the staff. Through exam and will have a consultation on what procedures and options needed to approach my issues. I’m very comfortable with this dentist.

As always....warmly greeted; professional procedure; kept informed about dental condition....overall a "5 star" experience throughout.

I wish I would have gotten a second opinion prior to having my fillings (6 months ago at my dentist back home I had zero cavities, now I have 7). I don’t know if my old practice wasn’t very good, or it’s this practice. Here’s my story:
I was having issues with a tooth after Dr. N had filled a cavity back in February. After two follow up appointments about how I was experiencing pain and extreme sensitivity with that tooth ONLY (I did
the ice cube test- confirmed it was that single tooth with sensitivity), his only solution was to have me place an order for a custom fit mouthguard (what!?). He took x-rays and said everything looked “fine” with the filling. I told him the mouthguard was not in my budget and I have never had issues with my current mouthguard. He continued to relay that my mouthpiece was the reason my teeth were sensitive, while I relayed that it was only ONE tooth with sensitivity and pain and I only started having problems AFTER he had filled it. He then told me he doesn’t have any other solution for me.
It’s extremely unfortunate that he allows patients to walk away with months of pain and discomfort post procedure. I will be taking my business elsewhere so I can eat and drink without pain.
Update: I went to another dentist to get a second opinion, and the Dr. said I need the filling to be re-done. The x-rays showed that the filling is not bonded to the tooth and the filling has an overhang (increases likelihood of tooth decay, gum disease, and infection). I went into Dr. Nguyen’s office and showed them the X-Ray and asked for my money back. The staff stated they were not happy about my google review, but they did refund my out of pocket charge and contacted my insurance.

This is one of the best dental offices I’ve been connected with. Dr. Scott and is team are intentional about providing the best service possible. What I love most, Dr. Scott spends time to explain the details of oral health from a comprehensive standpoint so his patients are well informed! You just CANNOT go wrong with this office! Love it here already!

The entire Heartland Family Dentistry is wonderful! They explain everything up front so that there are no surprises (from costs to the actual procedures). Dr. N is always so careful and gentle, explaining each step as he goes along. I have nothing bad to say about this practice. I've been 110 percent satisfied each time and enjoy my interaction with all the staff to boot. A friendly, talented, and professional group, which I highly recommend.

The professional and detailed care by Dr. N and his staff is truly remarkable in today's world. I have been very pleased to in trust my dental needs to them.

I have never liked going to the dentist. My whole life, going into the dentist has brought anxiety. However I feel as though I have found a dentist who puts me at ease, is highly professional and I trust completely. Dr. Nguyen and his staff do everything to comfort my anxieties and make me feel like I am in good hands. I no longer dread going to the dentist . Thank you!
