Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
Regular cleaning for healthy mouthsAfter $I'm not healthy? Brianna did not discuss $for a regular cleaning, only my cleaning she did was covered by insurance & I owe nothing I will be glad to sign a notarized statement to that effectWhat happened to the $charge? Is Brianna that much better than Shawna? I don't think so! When Brianna called me on 4/4/She insisted I pay $for the cleaningAgain what happened to the $chargeShe didn't want to resolve my concerns unless I agreed to her wanted results pay $200. Just to clarify this is my mouth & teethThey don't belong to you or your hygienist. I am years old, with my health conditions I will not be walking on this earth much longer. I won;t be eating much six feet under so I don't need perfect teeth.I take it that you will no longer be my dentist?

Mr***,We certainly appreciate you taking the time to communicate with us your concerns with the services we providedWe appreciate the opportunity to address any concerns and provide the best solution possible to resolve those concernsWe always do our best to inform our patients of their
expected out of pocket cost prior to any services.First, let's establish that "regular cleanings" (Prophylaxis) are for healthy mouthsThe typical prophy patient comes every six months, exhibits excellent homecare, has healthy gingival tissues, does not bleed on gentle probing, and has no pockets over 4mmIt is necessary for you to understand that periodontal maintenance is different from a regular prophy because you are controlling disease with periodontal maintenanceEach insurance policy is different and negotiated by your employer or yourself when you enter into the insurance planOur recommendations are based upon keeping our patients healthy, not upon what your insurance may or may not cover. In regards to your concerns with the cleaning that was provided, we did inform you of the cost for your cleaning (periodontal maintenance) on several occasionsIn fact, this was discussed between you and your Hygienist Shawna in detail on 4/27/2016, 12/6/and reinforced with Brianna on 4/4/stating that your insurance provider does not pay for any periodontal servicesWe can provide this detailed documentation upon your request should you decide to review your conversation with our officeUnfortunately, Mr***, this argument is between you and your insurance companyWe provide services based on patient necessity to benefit your overall healthInsurance companies are there to help assist you whenever possible and are sometimes very beneficialUnfortunately, with the multitude of clauses and provisions with each individual insurance policy it is apparent that they do not always have your best interest in mind and they do not always know what is best for the patient. I'm sorry that you feel there was a misunderstanding regarding the expected payment and expectations for this visitBut, it was not appropriate for you to be verbally combative and argumentative with Brianna when she only called to help resolve your concerns. As far as your desired settlement we have accepted your proposal to adjust the balance to zero resulting in no out of pocket cost to you.Again, we appreciate your feedback and hope that in your are able to find a dental provider that meets your needs.Regards,Scott * S***, DDS

cost prior to any services. As with your. appointment with us on September 20th we did .inform you of the cost for your initial appointment (Exam· and X·Rays) prior to seeing the Hygienist or Doctor. ln fact, this was discussed between you and our front office in great detail. You expressed your financial concerns with us and we were able to offer you an alternative arrangement that you agreed to. The treatment estimate that was provided from Andrea was for the treatment Doctor W[redacted] recommended.
I'm sorry that you feel there was a misunderstanding regarding the expected payment and·expectations· for this visit. But, In no case, was it appropriate nor do we appreciate the verbal treatment we received from you. Nor, was it appropriate to throw your dental bag at our glass door while leaving our practice. As already stated upon your dismissal from our practice we have accepted your payment of $142 as payment in full.
Again, we appreciate your feedback as we have built a good reputation· based on the service and dedication we provide to our patients. I'm sorry that you did not provide us with that opportunity.
