The Gentleman sates that the vehicle was sold "As Is", and I am aware of this, but this was with the assumption that the salesman told me the truth about everything. Which he did not. So in essence I was lied to. So my purchase was made based on believing the lies of the salesman/company. He even lied in his response to you. He says that the vehicle was sold for $11,400, as you can see in the documents that I sent the base price was $11,495. I agreed to the price of $11,400, but didn't catch the extra $95 until later. (My fault for not reading more carefully). But anyways as you can see from the document after their "fees" it was a total of $12,837.55. Which like he says would be a "very good deal" if in fact I had not been lied to and everything worked properly. (which it did not).
The next part I would like to address is the Title. I paid $15 for and was promised a title from the sate of Indiana by the 22nd of January 2015 as seen also in the documents that I provided. I called the dealership on the 23rd of January, 2015 and was told that they had just received the title and they would send it to me overnight. (Being that the 23rd was a Friday, they assumed that it would not arrive until Monday the 26th or Tuesday the 27th at the latest.) So I did not receive the title and I called the dealership again on the 30th of January seeking the whereabouts of the title. I spoke with the same salesman who told me the same story, that they just received the title back from the state and they would overnight it to me. When I reminded him of the previous conversation, the salesman became what I can only describe as "verbally combative" and I told him that he did not have to get violent with me that this was his mistake and he needed to own up to it. Eventually he calmed down and promised to send me the title right away. But the other lie that they said in their response was that they sent the title within 31 days. I purchased the vehicle on the 31st of December 2014. According to my math that is 32 days after the purchase (including the 31st of Dec.). Regardless as you can see by the documentation, it was promised by Jan. 22nd. Anyways, that matter aside, I was told the vehicle was going to be Titled in the state of Indiana and that is why it took so long. As you can see be the Documentation, the title that I received was one from Illinois. This, to me, appears to be the title from a while ago and They probably had on hand with them when I bought the truck. Indicating that they could have signed the title over to me when I bought it. Instead they falsely charged me$15.00 for "Tag and Title Fee".
Now, because they did not send me the title until Jan. 31st, (Again this was a Saturday, so the title did not reach the address I provided to them until Tuesday the 3rd of February.) Being a member of the US Navy and living/working on a US Military base I could not drive the vehicle with expired tags. As you can see by the documentation the temporary tags expired on Jan. 30th, the day before they sent me the title. As a result I received a $95.00 ticket from the base police for displaying expired tags and also was told to get this fixed within a week or it would be impounded as an abandoned vehicle. (I was able to negotiate the week in order to get the vehicle titled, registered and have valid plates). Also since I was not allowed to drive the vehicle without valid plates and registration and I had to get to work, I had to pay a taxi $25.00 to take me to the airport to rent a car (which I was able to get a very good deal through Priceline.com for $170.00 for a week.) then I had to pay a Taxi $25.00 more dollars to drop the car off. So as a result of them not sending me the title that they could have given me when I bought the truck I had to spend an additional $330.00 not including the gas that I used in the rental car.
The next lie that I would like to address is the Check engine light. The check engine light was on when I first looked at the vehicle. I told the salesman that I did not want to take it for a test drive because the Check Engine Light was on and there was a roofing screw lodged in the front passenger side tire. The salesman assured me that he would have the tire fixed and he would have one of his technicians look into the "Check Engine Light" and he would get back to me to see if I was
still interested. I went to look at a few other cars around Indianapolis when the salesman called me back to say that the truck tire was "fixed" and the reason for the "Check Engine Light" was due to fact that the truck was low on fuel. Normally I would have investigated further, but on one of the other test drives the "Check Engine Light" came on while I was driving another truck and it had run low on fuel, so this sounded logical to me. The salesman told me that they put some more fuel into the truck and the "Check Engine Light" went out. So my father and I returned to the dealership for a test drive and the tire no longer had the screw in the front passenger side tire, the "Check Engine Light" was not lit and there was more fuel in the tank. Taking the salesman at his word I took the truck out to test it. While driving it, I pulled into a subdivision and attempted to engage the 4 wheel drive Low. It made a noise like it was engaging so I assumed that it was working properly. When I returned and asked the salesman about the 4 wheel drive, he said that to the best of his knowledge everything worked fine. So again I took him at his word that it worked fine and agreed to purchase the vehicle.  
I left the dealership with about a quarter of a tank, so I stopped at a gas station to fill up with gas, because we were expecting snow. After filling up and paying for the gas, I started the truck up and immediately the "Check Engine Light" came on. (which, from my experiences, it takes about 3-5 cycles of starting and turning off the vehicle for the "Check Engine Light" to come back on after the codes have been cleared. (Hind sight being 20/20 I assume that when I asked the salesman about the "Check Engine Light" he just had one of his technicians just clear the codes.) You can't tell me that it is a coincidence that this happened. (You can't tell me that the truck was running perfect and the only reason that the "Check Engine Light" was on was because of the low fuel and then all of a sudden the "Check Engine Light" comes on for something totally different. Please!) It was after 9pm by now and there was no place to have it looked at so I went to my father's house, where I was staying while I was on leave. The next day I took the truck to "[redacted]" because they advertised to diagnose "Check Engine Light" problems for free. When I had the [redacted] technician hook up the OBD Scanner it came up with a code of P0020 which after further investigation, indicated that the Variable Control Timing (VCT) Solenoid was stuck in the open position or there was an issue with the VCT timing. Since [redacted] did not carry these parts in stock I had to get them from a Ford dealer. I bought 2 solenoids (one for each side) and 2 gaskets for about $190.00. I will forward documentation on this when my wife sends it to me. I replaced the two solenoids and it was obvious that one was damaged and needed to be replaced. The second one was not as damaged, but still needed to be replaced. The codes were cleared and I thought the issue was resolved. Until about 4 cycles later the "Check Engine Light" came back on with the same code of P0020.
 
About a week later, I was driving the truck in some snow and decided to engage the 4 wheel drive to get better traction. I soon found out that it was not working, and I was only getting power from the rear wheels. I took the truck back to the dealer and asked them to look at the 4 wheel drive and the "Check Engine Light". They told me that since the VCT Solenoids had just been replaced the next step would be to replace the Cam Shafts or even the whole engine. They asked if the truck seemed sluggish or if there were any issues with the engine in regards to the VCT. I didn't think that there was so they opted to hold off on replacing the Cam Shafts. with regard to the 4 wheel drive they said that the 4 wheel drive actuator was not working and needed to be replaced. The total for these repairs was $438 as shown in the documentation provided.
Now back to the owner's statement that the truck being sold for $11,400 or as it actually was for $12,837.55 if the truck worked 100% properly, as I was told by the salesman, it would be a "Very Good Deal". But since they lied to me and it has actually cost me so far an additional $1070.00 and it still has the "Check Engine Light" on, I would say that it is not a "Very Good Deal", it is average if not worse because I still have to work through the issue of the "Check Engine Light".
So, to answer the question 'What would I like to see done to make this right?" I would like for World Class Motors to pay to have the "Check Engine Light" fixed and at the very minimum to reimburse me for the $740.00 I spent in parts and repairs for the 4 wheel drive and VCT Solenoids and for the $330.00 I had to spend because they withheld the title from me and prevented me from titling and registering the vehicle in a timely manner.
