I brought my daughter's car to Scott's Auto in May to replace a tire, oil change, and to check for a small fluid leak We were told that the fluid leak was from the axles and to repair that would be $ We were assured by the business that that they fixed the leak and there were no other issuesThey had the car for four days and my total bill ended up to be over $1,as it turned out that it also needed the cruise control repaired, which was legitimate; however they forgot to do the oil change but was not charged
A few days later we called the shop back to report that the fluid was still leaking and would return it to the shop when we could schedule it When we returned the car approx two weeks later, the leak was somehow now diagnosed to several leaks from valve cover gaskets, upper oil pan seal, oil pan gasket, power steering pump, and the coolant pipe gasket and that we would be charged an additional diagnostic fee which before tax was another $1,repair
