The spark plug boot is the part they supposedly replaced, so there is nothing to see now Part of the maintenance they originally performed was to install a new spark plug It is my belief that any damage to the boot occurred during maintenance as I had no trouble with the mower prior This would have been so simple if when I called to report the problem, they had replied "we'll fix it."

Ms*** called and wanted us to pick up her LAfor full service She stated her unit was about years old had never been taken to a John Deere dealer and thought it was time for a serviceI believe she stated someone she knew had been doing this We picked her unit up on 4-13-
We did a complete service and replaced a beltThe amount for that service was $Ms*** called back 5/2/and stated her mower had backfired when she used it. During the conversation with Ms***, she stated she wanted it picked up and fixed. We scheduled and pick up the unit on 5/2/ After getting her unit in and checking it out, it appeared that the Spark Plug Boot was broken We replaced the Boot and only charged her half of the pickup fee, as she said she had someone to come and get it for her When Ms*** came to get her unit she was very disgruntle after receiving a bill for $ We explained to her that the previous time it was in, was for service only This problem had nothing to do with the service that was preformed on 04/18/ She proceed to say again the unit is years old and have never had any problems until now As, our Service Manager was trying to explain everything to her she became more irate and I went over to try to help As, the Service Manager walked away she stated "Go on and leave ***." I walked up and tried to defuse the situation and she contto cuss and be loud There was nothing we could say to ease her Finally after all else failed, I had to ask her to leave As of 05/17/we have not heard from Ms*** If her unit is still having problems with backfiring we will be more that happy to assist her with that But, again we have not heard from her since that day she left If she would like us to look at her LAwe will be more than glad to, but she must remain calm We always try to give great customer service and act very professional We feel there was nothing wrong with how we handled this situation We were more than fair to Ms*** and tried to work with her and help her understand what had happen with her unit
